This was my second time back volunteering here atthe community because I loved it so much. I feel very much at home with the community and included in the team. I enjoy the work outside a lot such as assisting with the underground piping work because it's interesting for me. They're very warm and if you have any issues they try their best to always help. Would recommend to stay at this place.

Living atthe community was a beautiful and enriching experience! From sleeping in the cozy dome to taking care of the animals, cooking with fresh & regional ingredients and sharing it all with other lovely volunteers - every moment was a joy. You help out wherever support is needed at the time which keeps things interesting and diverse! The commune truly cares about fair and respectful treatment for everyone living there. I felt welcome and appreciated every single second. Thank you Sara, Giovanni, Silvia, Riccardo, Federico, Lucio, Libero, Anita and of course Ada for opening your home to me!

I loved my time here at thethe community Eco-village! The whole family is so welcoming and you can always trust that they are there for you! I learned so much about sustainability, gardening, cooking, pipe changing, and so much more! I admire how politically active they are, and it may be a small commune but they make a huge impact on other communities, people, and mother nature! So heck yes I recommend this special place!!♡

Alvadore eco village is a special place that have planted themselves deep into the community space of reggio Emilia. They are kind and welcoming towards volunteers. I learnt so much about cooking, eco printing and feel refreshed in my social and political activism goals. I also enjoyed sleeping in the cosy tent and feeding the chickens. We carried and sorted a lot of wood. I leave with bigger muscles and a stomach full of pasta and cheese. ❤️

I really loved my time here. Everyone was very welcoming and so kind and respectful to me, they really make you feel like a part of the family. The work is great and you get a lot of free time, I even got to take part in their workshop on how to repair the oven they have outside. I can definitely recommend this place to everyone who might think about coming here.

I had an amazing time atthe community learning about sustainability, having great genuine conversations and unwinding in nature!! The tasks assigned were interesting and varied, such as gardening, building, feeding the animals, household chores, etc. Had lots of free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the hills too. Everyone is passionate and very willing to share their knowledge. They are very warm and welcoming, and I even had the opportunity to join several of their family and friend gatherings! I would highly recommend this experience to everyone! Hope to be back soon <3

My stay inthe community is something I will cherish forever. If you're thinking about going I highly recommend you to go. You'll meet absolutely amazing people who'll be respectful and kind to you in every step of the way. They make a big impact in sustainability and critical thinking. About the chores, they were easy and also beautiful (be ready to do some gardening! Hahsh). It's better if you know some italian before coming here, but it's not necessary because their english is good. This experience will always stay with me as one of my best memories, and I hope I'll see them again soon! 💓

My stay inthe community was unforgettable. The family made me feel right at home, and everyone was always willing to teach me about everything. I learned so much about sustainability and many other topics that were new to me. I couldn't have chosen a better volunteer experience to be in contact with nature and immerse myself in such a rich culture. Participating in the 10th-anniversary of the community was a beautiful and inspiring moment that I'll cherish forever. If you're looking for a place to reconnect with nature and yourself, don't hesitate—this is the best place to do it.

Fantastic place for personal time, work in nature, and experience with living in a community with children. The families here are very warm and welcoming, slight language barrier. Work starts 9:30-1pm Mon-Fri, it varies from gardening, building, repairing. Daily chore: feed chicken and cats Rotated chores: cooking for ~10, cleaning after meals (day 2 you might start cooking) Weekly chore: rotation style, you could be assigned to clean the kitchen, bathroom, garage, or stairway. Lots of free time to wonder in nature, beautiful views and sounds of nature. Enjoy! Highly recommended :)

I felt immediately at home with the whole community. It was my first experience, and for sure I can be happy for that! I learned a lot of things: vegetables garden, spontaneous herbs, taking care of chickens, cutting the grass and some small repairing and cleaning stuff. For lunch and dinner we ate all together; the community were always open to listen and share your doubts and suggestions, explain in details your tasks and make you feel comfortable with your needs. I really suggest to spend some week atthe community! For sure this will be only the first time for me here, but not the last!
