I'm Sarah, and I am excited to welcome you to come stay on my land in the middle of the Alpujarras mountain range in the south of Spain. My little piece of paradise consists of about 9 hectares with 2 small casitas set on a beautiful spot just above the village of Cadiar. I'm looking for volunteers to help with everything from gardening, weeding, chopping wood, harvesting, painting, maintenance, and daily operations of a homestead in the making.

Dettagli del programma

I'm offering a place to stay in one of the casitas. You'd have your own bedroom, a shared bathroom, a communal kitchen, and a beautiful landscape in the front yard. The working schedule is 5 hours/day and 5 days/week. For meals, please note that I am providing provisions for you to cook for yourself (the platform calls this 3 meals/day). On occasion I will cook up something delicious but mostly you and other volunteers will prepare communal meals from the fridge and pantry.

Attività e turni

The work occurs sometime between 8 am to 4 pm -- there may be flexibility in when you do your 5 hours, or if you divide it during the day. Usually volunteers will work independently after some training on the task.

Shifts and work can change from day to day. If you are flexible and adaptable, you'll do well here. If you prefer predictability and routine schedules, this probably isn't the project for you.
