This experience was the best of my life! The place, the people, the activities, were just beautiful. Rotich and his family are now my family, I felt at home since the first day I arrived, they took care of me and we became very close. At home, I tried the most delicius food cooked by his wife the organization and I played a lot with their kids, it was lovely. A family you end up loving a lot 🥹. At school, I taught Spanish to the children, it was the most incredible experience that I could ever had. I also had time to have fun and to go for a safari. I really had the greatest time I'll never forget ❤️

My experience with the A.J.K.E.F. lasted about fifteen days. It was an amazing opportunity to connect with the local environment and its culture. The host is a fantastic man, with a fantastic family and always with a big will of help his community. It was amazing to teach in the local school and to work on a social media project to share the good message this foundation is trying to share with this volunteering opportunity. Highly recommended.

My experience at A.J.K.E.F. lasted about 2 weeks. The most rewarding part was teaching French at the local school, especially the exchange with the older children who were really eager to learn. The family is really nice, and the neighbours as well. Food was tasty. Of course, you need to adapt to the conditions of the slum. The host is always there for you and happy to accompany you to city tours, shopping etc. however, I highly recommend that you combine the staying with other volunteers or friends to hang out together.
