I've had an absolutely incredible time at the hostel! Thank you Ezequiel for all the passion, vision & effort you put into creating such a wonderful experience for us volunteers. The most special thing for me was to really grow as angeoup and connect with the other volunteers. I can now say I am a buch of new friends richer! I am grateful to know that NSH will always have an open door for me 🌞

This was my second time volunteering in Gijón, and I immediately felt at home again. Just like during my first stay, the tasks and expectations were clearly communicated, making it easy to settle in. The work itself is straightforward and easy to learn, leaving plenty of time to enjoy everything Gijón has to offer. I had an amazing time with the team, going surfing and cycling and taking long walks along the beautiful coastline while exploring the nearby beaches. I'm already looking forward to my next visit, as this hostel and its people have earned a special place in my heart. <3

The hostel will always have a piece of my heart. I felt at home, Ezequiel is an amazing manager, the team of volunteers is big, cohesive and collaborative. I met so many people all around the world, could surf and do yoga for free, party but also relax when needed. Most of all, I created connections I will forever be grateful of. It was my first experience as a worldpackers and I couldn't have made a better choice. Hasta luego ❤️

I had an incredible experience at the hostel, it very quickly began to feel like home. The work was fair - exactly as described, and very well organised. The hostel itself is so cosy and has much more of a homely atmosphere than other hostels you'd typically find in Spain. Ezequiel goes above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable and have everything you need. The location is ideal, everything you need is within a 10 min walking distance (supermarket, beaches, parks). Overall amazing experience.

No puedo estar más agradecida con esta experiencia. Ezequiel tiene un nivel de organización que asusta jaja es impecable, muchísimas gracias. El equipo también ha sido increíble. Me sentí en todo momento parte importante del lugar, fue mi casa! No es algo que se pueda decir todo el tiempo. Gracias gracias gracias

I spent two months as a volunteer, working in reception and cleaning, and I wholeheartedly recommend this experience. the hostel is beautiful, well-kept, and has a warm, modern vibe. The working hours are balanced and well organized, and the tasks are easy to learn. What I loved the most, however, is the atmosphere inside the hostel: I felt welcome from day one. The manager is always approachable and makes sure everyone has an unforgettable experience. I met wonderful people who will always have a special place in my heart. 🤍 Thank you, the hostel! 🙌🏼

My experience at the hostel in Gijón was fantastic. I had an amazing time with the other volunteers and guests, and the city itself is really cool. It's the perfect place if you want to surf, relax, have fun, and improve your language skills (especially Spanish). The management deserves a special mention—congratulations to the manager for running everything so smoothly. The tasks were clearly explained, easy to follow, and the working hours were always respected. Overall, it was a super fun and rewarding experience that I'd highly recommend!

I had a great month at the hostel! The team was amazing and the tasks were fair as agreed beforehand. Ezequiel the manager puts a lot of effort to make everyone feel comfortable. I think it's a very good deal getting surf classes and material for free. With the bikes you can explore the beautiful coastline around Gijón.

Mi voluntariado como Social media se resume en dos palabras: energía y diversión. Trabajaba a mi ritmo, con mil panoramas y rodeada de personas del mundo que no solo te hace sentir en casa… sino que se convierte en tu crew de aventuras. Gijón vibra con juventud y deporte. La playa es un paraíso, igual que los paseos en la ciudad y alrededores con esas postales naturales que son de ensueño. El surf, ¡LO MEJOOOR!. Mejoré mi fotografía, pude probar ideas nuevas y, sobre todo, sentí que mi trabajo importaba. El staff 100/10. Volvería mil veces. ¡GRACIAS TOTALES EZEQUIEL, el hostel!
