I had a great time in Palermo and staying at the hostel. Polina is very nice and respectful towards volunteers. The hostel is in a very nice location for food and sightseeing.

Polina is an amazing boss and an even better friend. From the start of my time in the hostel I was treated with respect and kindness, and working alongside her was easy and fun. Sleeping conditions are really good in staff room, location is perfect, work is easy and working hours and shifts respected. I learnt a good bit of Italian here. Ihad an incredible one month in Palermo, I met a lot of beautiful people and created many friendships. I got to see a lot of Sicily and I will cherish this time in my life forever. Julieta, Adelina and Margaux, see you around guys ❤️

Thank you for your work in hostel.
I definitly recommend Dawid as he always proactive, responsibile and trying to resolve everything.
He mostly worked for evening shifts and never complain about late check-ins (almost jajajajajaja).
Very good teammaker and respectfull to colleges and property.

Super good vibes at the hostel ! I unfortunately had to leave earlier than expected for work. Ellom, the manager, is a truly beautiful soul and makes you feel at home instantly. Tasks are exactly as described, nothing difficult, the schedules are fairly distributed amongst us. Right in the city center, very close to the train station & everything you might need to explore the city during your free time. The only thing you should have in mind is that the hostel is not brand new, some things could be improved and the equipments are what they are, but if you're ready for the ride, you'll have fun!

El staff y la manager se portaron muy bien conmigo y me trataron genial, pero el hostal no era lo que esperaba. El sitio estaba bastante sucio y no había ningún sitio como para socializar todos juntos. No fue una experiencia terrible pero solo estuve una semana (supuestamente iba a estar un mes pero me fui antes) porque no me acababa de sentir cómoda porque no es el ambiente que estaba buscando, pero Ellom y el resto de staff fueron muy acogedores :)

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue muy especial. Las instalaciones y organización del hostal dejan harto que desear, pero las tareas son super simples y queda harto tiempo libre para poder conocer Palermo (una ciudad llena de vida y con mucho que ofrecer) y las increíbles playas de Sicilia. Muchas gracias Massimo por la oportunidad!

My experiencie at the hostel was great, I had such a good time and I made a lot of friends! Although the hostel has some things that have to be fixed (like the electricity, which also affects the running of the water sometimes), the work is pretty chill and you have a lot of free time to travel around. Anyways, it was a good experience and I felt like at home, the other volunteers became my family. So, if you are expecting a 5 stars hotel, I don't think this is for you, otherwise, go for it!

It was a good experience, the work was easy and there was enough time left to see palermo. A lot of things didn't work properly (wifi, electricity, ac, water) and the guests were complaining daily. The staff room is small and also dirty but the other volunteers were nice and you get to know lots of people from all over the world. Despite some problems with the infrastructure, the overall experience was great and I would recommend it.

We had a good time working in the hostel, since the tasks are pretty easy and the shifts not too long. polina and massimo are both really nice people and were always contactable. however, lots of stuff in the hostel wasn't working properly. there were complaints by the guests almost daily about the ac, the wifi, the electricity and other things not working and we were often told to just turn it off and back on, which didn't solve the original problem. if you're able to handle situations like these well, the hostel's a great choice to get to know palermo and gain some work experience.

Havia problema TODOS os dias, como queda de energia o que acarretava em problemas no Wi-Fi, água (pois existe uma bomba de pressão) e ar condicionado. O que faz com que os hóspedes reclamem constantemente, ainda no verão, sem AC em quartos com 14 pessoas. O proprietário aparece 2/3x por semana, fica pouco tempo e faz trabalhos simples. Fiquei muito desconfortável por ter que assumir responsabilidades fora do conhecimento de um voluntário e não haver nenhum gerente/empregado no hostel para ajudar. Não foi oferecido refeições, não há como lavar roupa e havia turno noturno. Não recomendo!
