I really did enjoy my time on Carole's farm. It's a beautiful area with so much to do dispite being rural. Carole is a super kind person. She's great at teaching you everything you might need to know about the work and the expectations. I felt instantly comfortable and welcomed as there are a lot of opportunities to make connections with Carole the other volunteers. I learnt a lot about gardening and cooking organically, and I made so many new experiences everyday. Thank you Carole!!

My partner Caden and I stayed at Carole's farm for 4 weeks, and it was wonderful! We didn't know what to expect at first, but Carole really makes it a wonderful experience for everyone. If you're looking for an experience that will introduce you to new people, new ways of living and new skills, this is the PERFECT opportunity! Carole is super flexible and kind, meets your needs and encourages exploration of the local village, nature and also nearby Sarrebourg. The work can be difficult, but it's as you'd expect for a farm. We would recommend this to any traveler, new or experienced!

I am very grateful for my experience at the farm. The environment was welcoming and collaborative, with everyone helping out when needed to finish tasks. I had the opportunity to da variety of jobs and learned a lot about the daily operation of the farm as well as organic agriculture! Each day we cooked together as a team using crops that aren't to be sold which was a super cool exercise in creativity as we tried to make sure nothing went to waste. I would definitely recommend this to others!

It was a fantastic experience. I enjoyed working in the farm, preparing together the lunch with good food, meeting new volunteers from different parts of the world and sharing time there. Carole is a really amazing person, the place is surrounded by fields and there are villages that you can reach well by walk. I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to get in touch with nature and now more about farming! Thank you!

My experience at the farm Luisant was really pleasant. The house is cozy, the shower works perfectly, and the rooms and beds are super comfortable. For extra comfort, you can bring your own sheets and towel, but everything is already provided. Since it's an organic farm with a zero-waste mindset, sometimes you'll eat leftovers from the day before — part of the experience! The host works really hard and truly needs help, so it's not a free vacation with food and accommodation; it's real farm life. I spent almost 2 months on the farm and I can say that it was absolutely perfect. I learned so much here. This experience opened my mind in many different ways. Harvesting tomatoes, zucchinis and raspberries was my favorite but honestly all of the tasks were super good. Also I found my passion in farming :)

Trabajamos de 7 a 12 horas en diversas tareas de huerta orgánica como desherbar, plantar, ordenar los elementos utilizados, fertilizar. También conversamos sobre formas de mejorar el negocio. Cocinamos juntos con los productos de la huerta y ensayamos nuevas recetas. El contacto con la tierra enseña los tiempos que requiere un ser vivo, que todo tiene su maduración, que las condiciones deben crearse para el desarrollo. Agradezco a Carole la posibilidad de colaborar, aprender y disfrutar del hermoso espacio campestre.

This experience was simply perfect. I never thought I'd enjoy life in the countryside, especially with back problems, but I loved it. Carole, her family, and the team are amazing. I formed real bonds and made lifelong friends. I discovered a passion for agriculture, learned to live with people from different backgrounds, and grew more empathetic. I had a wonderful experience at the farm Luisant. Carole is a very kind and understanding person who genuinely cares about the well-being of her volunteers. The work was not too strenuous, and I felt I had the perfect balance of work time and free time. Although the farm is quite remote, there are many things to do just staying in, like ping pong, board games, and even riding the donkeys! I made great friends and learned many new things about farming and local culture. This was my first volunteering with Worldpackers, and I couldn't have asked for a better one. I had a very good and meaningful experience. It was 20 days of a lot of learning, where I learned many things that were different from my reality. Carole is an incredible person who does everything she can to help with everything. The tasks are done as requested, I had no difficulty in carrying out any task. The landscape is stunning, marked by green fields and beautiful houses. I would definitely recommend this place to other volunteers. Thank you for everything!
