Our experience at the guest house in Aoshima has been beautiful. I love the people here, the small town vibe & I am so grateful for this time we have had! I loved surfing every day & we always had time to go out & enjoy the ocean (less than a 5 minute walk to the beach :) ) Toshi & Phu are so lovely and I am so thankful for how generous & welcoming they are. I will miss this home away from home and would love to come back some day!

It was my first Worldpakkers trip and I loved it! Toshi is very nice and friendly. The work is arround 2 hours and the rest of the day is up to you. I went surfing a lot so it was perfect that we could use the surfboards for free. I hope to come back soon!

The host of the guest house, Toshi, I think is a super friendly and hardworking man who made me and my friend feel very welcome. We could always contact him if we had any questions.

This was my first world packers stay and I could not have had a better experience. Aoshima is beautiful, the hostel is so close to the beach. I learned so many new skills and met so many people from around the world. I am so happy to have had this experience I have memories and new friends that will last for a lifetime. The work is chill and easy and fun to do with friends. Toshi and Fu are super nice and accommodating and I hope to stay here again in the future.

In May of 2023 I visited Aoshima and the guesthouse for 5 weeks. The people I met were the best and will always be my friends. Toshi and his wife were extremely helpful and kind to me. The work itself is around 2 hours everyday, and 2 days off in the week. I couldn't surf when I arrived, I am still really bad haha, but to be able to use the surfboards and wetsuits everyday was really great. I loved my experience and I hope to comeback some day :) <3

My experience in the guest house was the best. It was my first world packers experience so I was a bit nervous about the whole thing, but everyone in the guest house made me feel so welcomed. Toshi, Foo and all the other staff there were so nice and friendly!! The work was pretty simple and quick if everyone worked on it together! The area was also amazing. A lot of places to meet new people, eat delicious food, go on adventures and relax at the beach. But as expected, the people make the place, and everyone there was so nice! For sure want to go back there someday ☺️

My experience in aoshima has been amazing. the town is beautiful and there is always something to do: surfing, exploring the area, going to miyazaki..... the work is very easy and Toshi and Fu are amazing people who are always willing to help, thank you for everything ❤️ in short, if you are ready to fall in love come to aoshima and you will never want to leave!!!

An incredible stay! The work is fun, easy and quick. You have plenty of free-time to explore the local area, surf, and bike-ride. Toshi-san and Foo-chan are extremely kind and understanding hosts. The accommodation is amazing - very clean and comfortable. I truly enjoyed my time here and would love to return, thank you! :)

I'm so glad that I picked the guest house, I had an unforgettable time and met amazing people from all over the world:) The location is great, right next to the beach for surfing and the train station for going into the city. Toshi and Foo were incredible hosts, so kind and welcoming. The work was straight forward and didn't take up much of the day, I have no complaints! I am truly going to miss this place, but I'm sure I'll be back one day! Overall I am so grateful for this experience and couldn't recommend it enough:)

The nature in Aoshima is stunning, you can truly find hidden gems. Toshi-san is an extremely kind and welcoming host and I'm so thankful I got to stay in such a beautiful place !
