A family home in the lavender fields of Provence

Amy and Matt are very kind and attentive. The assigned tasks are related to maintaining the garden and helping around the house (housekeeping), nothing complicated, and the schedules are flexible. The house they provide is super lovely and comfortable; you have everything you need to feel at ease (kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine). The region is very beautiful and peaceful, and there's a lake nearby. The city center is just a 10-minute bike ride away. It was a very positive experience, and one I would definitely repeat.

Very cool place, the property is big and often needs very boring repetitive tasks but I think the work was fair for the exchange. I will say if you have a fear of bugs this place is NOT for you, also a VERY dusty property. Overall the hosts are super flexible and nice I would note extra that they do not provide meals and the groceries in this town are very expensive and so are the limited restaurants. If you are looking for a quiet space to clear your head this is a good space. If you want an exciting experience or a communal one I would look else where. Also the if you I enjoyed my stay!

Amy and Matt were great hosts. I enjoyed my time connecting with nature, helping with some painting, cleaning, and maintenance jobs around their beautiful farmhouse and garden, and even spent some quality time with their very cute Bichon. It is quite rural, so beware of spiders. But overall, it's a great opportunity if you're looking for an escape from the city in rural French life. There is great olive oil and wine, and the environment encourages lots of walking. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is a great stay with quite a bit of flexibility of working hours and tasks.

I really enjoyed my time here. Amy and Matt were both lovely and friendly. They were great at giving jobs that matched your skills and what you want to be doing. For me that was outside in the gardens. The location is great, a good place to slow down and enjoy life. The town and lake were great to explore and both easily accessible by bike. The wifi got fixed on my last day there so everything is back connected.

The tasks worked very well for me and were very clear, exactly as agreed. Amy and Matt were always very nice and kind to me, and I felt comfortable and very good in the house. The property is truly beautiful, as is the location. The wind even smells like lavander and every day there is a beautiful sunset. There are nice places to go by bike to exploring the town. It's not a place to socialize but rather to enjoy your own company, and that exactly what I was looking for. They were also quite flexible with schedules. The only truly negative point is that Wi-Fi does not work where we stayed.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to slow down and have time to enjoy a locals only experience in the area. They did a great job at giving you jobs to match what you want to do and your skill set. The family home is disconnected from where the Worldpackers stay so there is plenty of privacy. The WiFi never worked when I was there but when that is fixed all around this is a great break from the hustle of most trips.

Quiet and peaceful is what better describes the place. I was on my own doing all of my duties and that gave the chance to do it rapidly to go enjoying a little more of Aix and Cote D'azur. There's everything you need at home and if something is missing they provide it inmediately. It is a very comfortable place where you can relax when work is done. There's lakes and river close by to enjoy even more. You are provided with bikes so you can go easily to town to get your stuff same as to go to the lakes.

Amy and Matt were very kind and welcoming, and staying in their guesthouse was a unique countryside experience. The area is peaceful with nature all around and a lake nearby, though it's a bit isolated and transport is limited. Their dog is adorable, and the family was lovely. The work was straightforward (gardening, housework, laundry, cleaning) and we had plenty of free time. Things were sometimes a bit disorganized due to renovations, and Wi-Fi is weak, but overall it was a positive stay. I'd recommend it for those looking for a quiet countryside experience with flexible, kind hosts.

The experience was good for me because I was looking for a quiet place and I like to be by my own. I would not recommend if you're expecting to socialize with people. The house is not so close to the center but they provide bikes, what makes the shopping easier… it's about 15 min by bike. Amy picked me up and brought me back to the train station, she was really nice! The place is amazing with beautiful sunsets everyday. Basically they need help with the house. The tasks were clear and easy for me.

Upon arrival I had to walk 1hour a half from the train station to the property. The property we stay at is the only thing that was okay about this place. i hardly even spoke to the host as they didn't care. Mat knows how to make people very not welcome I dont' know why they accept people. The wifi does know work at all and when I was sat next to there house using it from outside I was asked to leave that area. When looking at the reviews they seem good but is definitely not true

You had to walk from the station as you turned up without warning and no one was available to collect you. We always are happy to collect the volunteers when their arrivals is planned.
