The place it's lovely and the view is incredible. As it was my first volunteer experience I did not what to expect but everything turned out great. Judith and Vincent are amazing and I couldn't be more grateful for letting me stay in their home.

My time at Villa Arzelier was wonderful! Vincent and Judith are very welcoming, and I felt at home right away. We always shared meals and did activities together, like for example hiking or movie nights, and I also had the chance to improve my French! The work was varied and never too hard, so there was lots of time to enjoy the peace of this place and explore the area. Thank you for this great experience, I'll definitely miss my time here!

Judith and Vincent are amazing persons, The Villa is really peaceful, you really are between the mountains. Somedays the work is hard but others that is really quiet. I'm sure that I have recieved much more than I have gave. I would never forget all this experience. Thank you.

I'm nearing the end of my time here and I'll be very sad to leave! The location is stunning with beautiful views of the Alps and nature right on the doorstep. I was made to feel very welcome as soon as I arrived and it feels a home away from home. Judith and Vincent are very kind and warm people. The tasks were a mixture of helping in the kitchen to prepare dishes for the chef, load and empty the dishwasher and laundry of the bed linen when guests left and making the beds. I've had plenty of free time to enjoy the natural beauty here. This has been an amazing way to relax from city life.

Foi o meu primeiro voluntariado e não poderia ser melhor. Judith e Vincent são acolhedores e flexíveis. Tive ótimos momentos com os dois e vou sentir muita falta. A casa é bem equipada e o meu quarto era muito confortável. Nos arredores tinham várias trilhas e também visitamos outros lugares nas folgas ou nas manhãs de sol. É um ambiente bem calmo e agradável para fazer algum hobby. Em relação ao trabalho, foi bem tranquilo e flexível. No geral a experiência foi inesquecível e maravilhosa, sou muito grata por todos os momentos que vivi lá.

Une aventure comme on les aime ! Judith et Vincent m'ont accueilli comme à la maison. Ce sont deux hôtes au grand cœur, présents et à l'écoute, très attentionnés et passionnés par leur mission. La villa est très agréable, nichée dans un coin de paradis montagneux, avec de nombreuses randonnées à faire aux alentours. Un emploi du temps flexible, parfait pour concilier avec mon métier digital. J'ai beaucoup appris en cuisine et échangé avec les autres volontaires. Une vraie et belle expérience à la the home !

J'ai adoré mon expérience dans la the home! Vincent et Judith sont très accueillants et généreux! Ils s'efforcent pour qu'on soit bien accueillis et reçus! Pendant le temps qui j'ai resté chez eu, j'ai eu l'opportunité de connaître des gens de différents régions de la France, donc j'ai beaucoup pratiqué mon Français. Judith a nous invité à faire une promenade aux montagnes et on a vu des paysages magnifiques. Jai eu la chance de voir la neige par la premiere fois! Les installations sont excellentes et j'ai pu goûter des plats merveilleux. Ça sera une expérience inoubliable pour moi!

I enjoyed my stay at the villa. The place is surrounded by nature which allows you to hike whenever you want but it's also very isolated (so you only ever speak with the other staff and the guests at the villa). In the beginning, I sometimes felt like the communication with the hosts could have been better but that was also probably because of the language barrier and some cultural differences. Otherwise, the hosts were REALLY generous and they treated us like family. I got to practice my French and I met some wonderful volunteers who made my stay so fun. <3

O lugar é muito bonito, estrutura maravilhosa, fizemos algumas brincadeiras, caminhadas na montanha e passeio para outra cidade. Tive a sorte de pegar "casa cheia" quando eu estive lá, haviam mais voluntários e ocorreram dois eventos em que foram recebidos muitos visitantes. Os anfitriões são muito simpáticos e gentis, eu era a única que não falava inglês, apenas francês, e eles sempre tentavam me incluir na conversa e fazer a tradução do que estava sendo dito em inglês para que eu também pudesse entender. Resumindo, minha experiência foi muito boa, vou levar ótimas lembranças.

I had the most incredible experience! I immediately felt welcomed and at home like part of the family. Judith and Vincent are the kindest hosts very friendly and generous. The house is surrounded by beautiful mountains with amazing hikes and nature all around. The rooms were cosy, the work was light and easy obviously getting a little more busy when there are seminars but you are always well looked after. I cannot thank Judith and Vincent enough for giving me such special memories. I was sad to leave and will miss this place lots !
