Was my first time volunteering and I couldn't ask for a better place to start. Serxho is a very kind man and he makes sure that everyone feels like they are home. You have nature all around you and it's a very peaceful place and the food Serxho cooks is delicious. I really enjoyed learning new things. I've had a very good experience here with Serxho and the other volunteer Andrea, I already miss them and I'll definitely come back. 🫶🏼

This was my second experience with WordPackers, and it was amazing. The hostel is very close to the beach, has a charming and beachy vibe, and is super cozy. The host is incredibly attentive and welcoming, making the experience even better. The work was really relaxed and enjoyable, and the food was delicious. There are also so many the hostel beauties to explore in the area during your free time. I highly recommend it, especially in the summer, as the atmosphere is perfect for those looking for a mix of relaxation and adventure.

This volunteering experience with Serxho is the best I've had so far. The atmosphere at the hostel was super laid-back and enjoyable and the tasks didn't feel like work at all thanks to such relaxed environment. I had the best time exploring the surrounding and discovering some hidden gems. The family dinner that Serxho hosts every night really made it easy to engage in interesting conversations with the guest and make friends with them real quick. All in all I'd recommend this program to everyone who wants to stay in Albania for a while🤍

Serxho is a very nice person who understands all the volunteers and gives us freedom and motivation during our work. The hostel is amazing, the activities are easy to do and you have time to visit all the beaches in the area. It was a pleasure to be here and I hope all the success in the world for host3l. Had such an amazing time at the hostel! Serxho was such an amazing host, always cooking amazing food and making sure we were well taken care of. The hostel has such a great intimate atmosphere and you really get to know the other volunteers and guests, especially at the family dinners. The workload was easy, although we weren't always able to get two days off a week. But still had plenty of time to explore the area in Himarë. The location was really great, 5 minute walk to a stunning beach. Really lovely place, I had such a great time and will miss Serxho and the other volunteers a lot!

Honestly, the most accurate thing I could say is that this place was like home away from home. When I left, it was like I was leaving my family, friends and home behind. This was such an amazing experience for me and a great opportunity to really be immersed in the Albanian culture and way of life. Serxho was the best host I've had, he was genuinely eager to meet everyone, cook for them, care for them, and spend time with them. The workload was very adequate, you had plenty of free time ! I met fantastic people there, and I can say without any doubt that I will be back one day !

Serxho was incredibly welcoming and kind from the moment I signed up. Even though I had to change my stay duration, he was very accommodating and helpful. The hostel itself is beautiful, nestled in a city surrounded by breathtaking nature and friendly people. The work itself is not difficult at all, and Serxho, his son and all the volunteers work tohether to make the hostel a warm, well-ran place. During my one week stay I made memories for a lifetime! Serxho is not only a wonderful host, but also an exceptionally intelligent person. I wish him and his family great health and happiness.

My first volunteering experience and there couldn't have been a better start! Serxhio is an incredible, friendly, generous and warm hearted host (a part of being an exceptional cooker), i honestly felt like home here. The vibes are immaculate: the surrounding nature makes it so peaceful. We had lots of "family" dinners with guests from all around the world, which i really enjoyed. The working hours are very flexible, i usually worked in the morning doing some general hostel chores: making breakfast, cleaning and check-ins. I defenitely recommend this awesome place, i'm sure i'll be back ❤️

Was really amazing, was my first experience as a volunteer and I think was the best. With Serxho, the hosting and the owner, I really won a friend, definitely I want to come back for help him and visit him. I'm so grateful with him, with her sister, his friends and his first staff. I wish the best fir him and his project, for me the hostel is Serxho's love materialized.
