It was a nice break from all the overstimulation in my normal life & take the time to enjoy the simple & mundane things in life, and better appreciate nature. I ended up extending my stay. A festival happened while there. Another volunteer & I participated by performing a traditional Thai dance w/ some of the women from the village. the farm, Deng and Phone really care about your well being. I had an accident and they were truly concerned for me. I recommend coming with a “down for whatever” mentality bc you will be met with surprises & interact w/ the locals during your down time.

I had a wonderful time in the farm ! I felt very welcome, by the family and also by the others volunteers. This is the perfect place to connect with nature and quiet. It's really rustic but it was what i was looking for. The work can be tiring specially because of the sun but it's not difficult and you also have a lot of free time to rest. I specially loved giving english lessons to children ! The food is also absolutely delicious. It can be cold at night but they give you a lot of blankets. I recommend you to go to the hot springs by hitchhiking on your day off ! Merci 🙏 🇫🇷

My week at the farm was an incredible experience. It is a very scenic place nestled in the mountains of northern Thailand and provided a truly authentic Thai living experience. I learned a lot, from traditional building techniques and crop harvesting, to meditation practice, and food preparation. the farm is a great teacher, and he and his family are very welcoming and kind. the farm's wife Dang prepared the most delicious vegetarian meals. It was also great to work alongside and get to know the other volunteers on the farm. Thank you the farm, Dang, and Phone for hosting me at your farm!

It was a great experience to live like the locals in the nature. My favourite part was the jungle tour, but there are lots of fun activities on the farm. The nights and mornings were cold, but the host provided enough blankets and hot tea. So if you want to try this life with the locals and learn some things (like gardening or you just want to know more about buddhism), then it is your place.

I stayed on this farm for a week and met many volunteers from all over the world. We did some work in the mornings (cutting bamboo with a machete, gardening) and took part in many activities (visiting a primary school for the children's day, hitchhiking to a hot spring, watching the village sports competition). The food is vegetarian, so healthy and delicious :). Just be aware that you sleep in a bamboo house, so it gets really cold at night. I would highly recommend this farm if you want to experience a very local and humble life. It really makes you appreciate the simple things in life <3

Staying on the farm was an extraordinary and beautiful experience for me. the farm's wife Dang cooked very well for us every day. There is no electricity on the farm. Showering with cold water is possible. Spending the night in the hut was an experience. I loved listening to the sounds of nature in the morning. Meditation was a beautiful and new experience for me. Sitting by the fire in the evening was very chilling. Thank you for the two trips. Work was easy and not that much. If you like simple life close to the nature it's the right place. Thanks for all the farm's family:)

The farm is the perfect place to escape the city and get an authentic experience. The family is really nice and welcoming. We did walking meditation in the morning and sitting meditation in the evening by the fire, and there were some work/activity and chill time in between. the farm took us on a jungle trip, which was really exciting. We also got to learn about Thailand and Buddhism. But you have to keep in mind that it can get really cold after the sun sets! Loved our little time there, all in all good experience for sure. Thank you❤️

Volunteering on this farm is an eye opening experience. It is great for exposing yourself to a different way of life. There was not a huge amount of farm work whilst I was there but we did lots of other activities like working at a school and trekking through the forest. However, staying at the farm is not easy so be warned: the nights are very cold, there is no hot water, and meals are repetitive. But if you are looking for an opportunity to live like the locals then this if for you!! (Bring warm layers, torches, power banks and toilet paper)

I really loved this experience! There is no electricity and you sleep in small wooden bungalows so be prepared to rough it a little bit. It can get cold at night so bring sweatshirts and sweatpants. The work is not difficult and many days we went on excursions to nearby schools, events, or hot springs. the farm, Phone, and Dang are not always super social at first, but if you talk with them they are always happy to tell you about life in Thailand! The food is all vegetarian and Dang is very considerate of other dietary restrictions if necessary. Overall I highly recommend this farm!!
