I had the most amazing 5 weeks at the hostel!! The staff are all so much fun and the work is enjoyable! I was there for the artist position and painted murals on the walls outside. It was probably the best job I could have asked for. Hours are easy and flexible, and you get 3 meals and also an allowance at the bar!! I made many lifelong friends here, I can't recommend this place enough!!

I absolutely loved my time at the hostel, would highly recommend it for travelers coming to meet locals and other travelers and then build strong friendships! The staff is super amazing and always fun to spend time with and I truly felt part of the team. The hours and what is expected of you is communicated clearly and it does take a lot of social work, but it is always a great time working and spending time at the hostel!

Me quedé en el hostel casi todo el mes de marzo, los chicos que trabajar en el hostel son increíblemente amables y dispuestos a hacerte sentir parte del equipo, me hice grandes amigos y me dieron la posibilidad de sumergirme en el estilo de vida de Milán, aparte de que las tareas siempre eran de poca carga y ellos trabajan con mucha felixibilidad en cuanto a la responsabilidad así que fue muy fácil adecuarme al estilo de trabajo y sentirme cómoda

Everyone in the hostel is the sweetest. I made friends with everyone super fast and just meeting them made the experience worth it. Being a party leader takes some energy being social but getting to know so many amazing people from around the world makes the night exciting. Also all the perks you get makes life soooo much easier. Big hug to the team, thank you for being there❤️

I felt part of the team right from the start, you get a warm welcome, everyone in the team has a big heart and a big smile. The tasks are really not difficult and really relaxed. The breakfast is really delicious and you always have a choice at lunch. In the evenings there is always an opportunity to meet new people, there are always live music events and more. I had a lot of nice and funny moments and met a lot of new good people and good friends. Thank you for everything:)

I had the best time at the hostel! The tasks were fun and easy and the staff is great :) it is located right next to the station which was very convenient. I would definitely recommend volunteering here and hope to come back someday!!

Volunteering at this hostel was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, with supportive staff and volunteers creating a true sense of community. The hostel is cozy, well-organized, and perfectly located for exploring the area. The tasks were enjoyable and well-balanced, allowing plenty of time to immerse myself in the local culture. It was a meaningful experience that introduced me to wonderful people and left me with unforgettable memories. Highly recommended! the hostel is amazing! Special thanks to each member of the staff!

The hosts and the stay are amazing. Everyone was super sweet and they were incredibly generous in making sure I had everything I needed. The one thing I will say is I did not get to do the actual job I was hired for. I signed on as an artist, but instead was given side tasks or asked to run social activities most days. The tasks were incredibly easy and I still enjoyed my time. I just highly recommend future art volunteers to self advocate for the original agreed upon tasks and be extremely flexible since plans and events tend to change a lot :). Good for trying a variety of tasks. Very chill

I loved my time at OBG! The hours are well respected and Jorgelina clearly outlines what is expected with the role. It's a very social role - you're expected to socialize with guests, invite them to the events that you'll be hosting each night, and making sure that they have an amazing experience. Everyone on staff are amazing individuals - they definitely made my experience there one to remember. The hostel is a clean space with a kitchen that includes fresh/free ingredients. Location is right next to Centrale station where the metro and trains are. You'll come out of OBG with fond memories!
