I really enjoyed working at the hostel! The work is explained to you clearly before your shift so you know what to do, and they don't give you any truly difficult tasks. There's always plenty of time off and even some weekends where you can go explore other cities or just chill. But most importantly, the people at the hostel were really welcoming towards Worldpackers, and they're super helpful! :)

It was awesome, I've been here last year and now again and ofc I can highly recommend to every worldpacker around the world to come to AO in Weimar. Staff friendly, easy tasks, and the food is awesome as well. Thx AO

Yo estuve en la cocina, me tocó lavar platos, limpiar mesas, barrer y trapear el piso. Así como limpiar el buffet después del desayuno o de la cena (cena no hay todos los días, sólo si un grupo en especial lo requiere). También me tocaron night watchs, donde recorría todo el edificio asegurándome que todos estuvieran en silencio. Todos los días desayunaba con los trabajadores, lo que me ayudó mucho a mejorar mi alemán. Todos me trataron siempre con mucho respeto, fueron muy amables y comprensibles. A pesar de que se te promete 1 comida al día, puedes tomar lo que sobra del bufet y no comprar.

I really enjoyed my time in Weimar, all the staff is really nice. Sometimes the amount of work can be a little bit overwhelming but it think it's worth it. Weimar is a small city but is charming.

It was an incredible experience that I warmly recommend! The kitchen work is easy especially if you already have some experience. The managers will explain how to do the tasks and in what order so you will never feel lost. The team was composed of nice and warmhearted people that made me feel included from the beginning. Weimar seems like a small city but you will be surprised by the amount of places to visit. It is very well located to do day trips and longer trips. I am very grateful for this experience and for the chance to meet this great team and this city.

This is such a great experience for volunteers ! The hostel is in a perfectly location, well connected to many cities, the hostel itself is a lovely place with plenty to see. But the real highlight is the hostel team! A groups of yung, friendly, and amazing people who make the work weeks so much fun!! I made so many new friends from all over the world, and the atmosphere here is just special. The accommodation and meals are good, but the really stand out is the kindness and positive energy of the staff. If you're a traveler looking for an unforgettable experience, this place is perfect!!

It was a great experience, the staff is very nice and we had the opportunity to get to know the city, it is quiet and ideal to spend a few days, the tasks are mostly clear in the kitchen, an ideal place to learn about the culture of the country

Practique mi ingles con los trabajadores y ellos eran muy amables y en los desayunos me encantaba desayunar con ellos, eso dé convirtió en uno de mis momentos favoritos💕. Si vas a elegir este sitio debes saber trabajar y seguir instrucciones ya que a veces suele estar lleno y debes saber correr yo y ni novio ya traíamos la costumbre y no nos costo.Si no sabes ingles quizá te aburras ya que todos hablan ingles o alemán y quizá portugués.

Minha experiência foi incrível, pude me conectar com pessoas maravilhosas, viajar facilmente pela Alemanha. O trabalho é de acordo com o combinado, fácil de ser executado. O café da manhã é maravilhoso, muitas opções de alimentos. Recomendo essa experiência! Weimar é um lugar calmo e lindo!
