Help us rehabilitate endangered species in the Bolivian JUNGLE!
L'esperienza
We are people who share a passionate love for nature that also have worked for years in wildlife management projects at different contexts (Bio-parks, Rehabilitation Centers, Noninvasive Research and Wildlife Sanctuaries)
In late 2011, we embarked on a journey that was about more than just wildlife conservation. We created a wildlife rescue center where you can be part of the team helping release back to the wild endangered species.

Dettagli del programma
Imagine equipping rescued animals with GPS collars to track their movements in the wild, building our facilities using indigenous architectural methods that blend seamlessly with the environment, and extending a helping hand to local kids, enriching their lives and education.
We're also setting up trap cameras in the wilderness to monitor wildlife, gaining insights into their natural behaviors. Releasing monkeys back into the jungle, where they belong, has been one of our most rewarding experiences. Watching them adapt and thrive in their natural habitat, with the help of our technology and research, is a testament to the positive impact we're striving to make. This project is a blend of heart, science, and community effort, aiming to protect these magnificent creatures and their habitats for generations to come.
Attività e turni
IMPORTANT! It is not guaranteed that you will help with whatever animal you want to help! We will place you where we need you at the time and where we think it´s the most suitable match for each species.
Please understand as well that we are NOT a ZOO! For this reason you will get to see only the animals that you actually help with (plus eventually our released monkeys that are always around).
At our wildlife rescue center, we prioritize the well-being of our extensive animal population, including two large groups of free and semi-free monkeys. Unlike other centers offering shorter/cheaper stays, our extended minimum stay requirements are essential for maintaining a stable and familiar environment for our animals. This approach is CRUCIAL, especially given the complexity of our operations, such as the need for volunteers to learn to identify individual animals within large groups.
