I LOVED my experience at this hostel!! Communication throughout the entire process was so clear and helpful. I was made to feel so welcome, it was well run, my role was more than reasonable and it was such a lovely space to be a part of. This was my first hostel volunteering experience and it's made me so excited to keep volunteering and to revisit this hostel in particular. A wonderful opportunity to meet a range of people, explore the local area and get a taste of life in Albania :)

This hostel is the most incredible little oasis in the center of Tirana. I arrived and immediately felt at home here. Kris and Ilir have created such a cool space with wonderful vibes for all kinds of travelers! The work is easy, stimulating, and varied. I was going to spend three weeks here but loved it so much that I ended up staying for three months and am for sure coming back as soon as I can <3 I 100% recommend coming here, you won't regret it and you'll fall in love with all the amazing things that Albania has to offer ;)

My time at Tirana Backpackers was truly a life changing experience! Everyone was extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful and it very quickly became a home away from home. Management was amazing and the work/hours were as described, but also fun and helped me gain useful life skills. This experience also gave me the opportunity to explore Tirana and Albania, and meet many life long friends. Thank you guys for everything, I couldn't be more appreciative !!!

I absolutely loved my experience volunteering at this hostel! Everyone was immediately welcoming and helpful, and truly made my time in Tirana one I will always cherish. The hostel has a very relaxed and comfortable vibe that was always wonderful to come back to after spending time walking around the city. I would highly recommend ❤️

Amazing experience, so sad to leave , this hostel makes you feel really at home and included in everything, you get to really connected to people and guests , the work hours are as described and everyone is respectful and helpful if you ever need help. Would definitely come back again.

I had an amazing time at the hostel the staff were an absolute pleasure to work with and they showed me the ropes with patience and ease baring in mind I had never worked at a hostel before I felt like part of the family immediately Kris and illior were delightful hosts and I can't wait to return to see how everything is done in summer thank you so much for having me ❤️

Due to a challenging work environment. The atmosphere was often passive-aggressive and cliqueish, with communication issues and a lack of respect for agreed-upon working conditions. There was also a tendency to dismiss concerns and address them with condescension. This environment made it difficult to feel valued or to ask questions without feeling belittled. As a result, I decided to leave earlier than planned to seek a more supportive and respectful work environment where I can thrive and contribute positively.

Tirana backpackers was a fun experience. I had a really nice time and I met some really nice people my main goal that was to have a break and to really chill out and the Hostel is the perfect place to do it and you really do get sucked in and you don't want to leave. There was a small issue with the change in job title, but it was handled really well and very professional. I would recommend this to anyone that wants to visit Tirana for a nice relaxed time.
