We were welcomed during winter time with Eileen and Simon! They were always really kind to us! When the weather was good, I did some work ouside with Simon help, he always explained me properly how to do all the things If we had any question we could always go and ask again! Simon's daughter took us hiking one day and everyone were nice to us and gave us advice on where to go! Simon got us tickets to see a DJ from Glasgow in Ullapool even if they were sold out which was really nice! We shared some time together talking about life and many places where they have lived! Awesome time :)

We had an awesome experience staying with Simon and Eileen! They were always really kind with us, we enjoyed many suppers and good chats with both of them! We went to Ullapool for a month during winter time and we got to meet their family, all of them are really nice people! Simon took us to see and hike around a waterfall and gave us good advice of what to do or places to visit. Simon was always really clear on the activities, flexible with schedules and time off; and the daily environment was peaceful and enjoyable! Go with them and you will not regret it at all! It is totally worth!

Lamentablemente no tuve una buena experiencia, el lugar es agradable, la cabaña es comoda y funcional, pero no logramos sentirnos cómodos, no hubo una buena comunicación, nunca nos sentimos valorados a pesar de que dimos nuestro mayor esfuerzo, llegamos con muchas ganas de aprender y contentos por la oportunidad a pesar de no tener experiencia sin embargo nos desmotivó la hostilidad que se fue desarrollando a lo largo de los días, aún así hicimos las cosas bien y avisamos con anticipación nuestra salida cosa que no fue bien recibida y lamentablemente tuvimos que irnos antes.

Unfortunately we did not get along with this couple. They worked hard but spent to much time on their phones.
Then out of the blue they declared they had to leave in a few days , almost a month before the agreed date.Despite the fact that, at that time I was unwell and they obviously felt no obligation to their commitments.

My time with Elieen and Simon was peaceful, with a lot of different tasks to do. I learn how to da lot of things, in the garden, in the house. The Airbnb is lovely, it's a pleasure to clean it, wash the lilen and iron them. They are amazing people who know how to make you feel welcome. I will always remember my time spend with them.

Some people just fit in, and Lea is one of those! It was a pleasure to have her company and get to know her.
As a volunteer she could not be faulted, working efficiently, quickly and showing the ability and willingness to tackle many different jobs.
We hope that in the future Lea has time to visit again as a friend and share her happy disposition.
