Volunteering at the hostel was truly special. The entire team, from Cindy (manager) to the receptionists, were all such friendly, incredible people, and they made my stay in Barcelona spectacular. Every single member of the team was kind and respectful, and super easy to work alongside. Cindy is very accomodating when organising shifts, and will try and be as flexible as possible to cater for the volunteers. Every volunteer shares the same shifts during the week, so the work is fair. I met such incredible people at this social hostel, and I know I will always have a home in Barcelona!

Estou muito emocionado com esse trabalho voluntário porque tive uma grande imersão cultural. Pude conhecer diversos pontos turísticos oferecidos pela hostel, assim como; boates e bares. O trabalho é sensacional, fazemos Pub Crawl, free dinner, festas. Toda a equipe permanecerá em meu coração. Obrigado Cyndi, estou tão feliz! Espero voltar em breve. Sou apaixonado por Barcelona!!!!!!!!!!! 🇪🇸❤️ o hostel está en mi corazón.

This was my first volunteer so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I loved it! The hostel is amazing, the work was easy and you have a lot of time to explore Barcelona. Cindy and all the volunteers and receptionists were always super nice, and I had so much fun :) I definitely recommend it🫶🏻

Amaziiiing experience!! Living in Barcelona for one month was simply a dream It was a very intense month but probably the best ever! You never get bored for sure! If you like to socialize and make friendships this is the best place for you. The work is very diverse and the staff is super nice The volunteer room is the only thing that I would probably change because is not super comfortable, but everything else was perfect! I already want to go back and experience everything all over again See you soon the hostel❤️❤️

Incredible experience! Maybe even the best month I ever had. If you like to socialize, this is the perfect place for you. I was doing something nonstop with the other volunteers and/or the guests. If you need time for yourself and relax, you can always do that. The staff and the other volunteers were just amazing. The volunteer room is not particularly good, but besides that, everything was great. It's a party hostel, but that doesn't mean one is forced to go out. The working shifts are good and varied. If you're lucky, you have another shift every day. Thank you all for this great time!! ❤️

During my time at smart hostel I got to meet many interesting people, each with their own unique background and experience. It's definitely a great place for those who look to expand their horizons and open up to new experiences. Barcelona is a very frenetic city, with lots stimuli and occasions for everyone. The staff is friendly and the place is just right for travelers

Realmente un agrado! Fue un mes y medio que estuve y me llevo una experiencia enorme. Desde Cindy que siempre ayudo y transmitió buena onda, los recepcionistas Santi Mari Rita Paola Emanuel siempre ahí y todo el grupete de voluntarios con Nacho Jackie Anahí Sierra Felipe Pietro Jonás, etc. Todas grandes personas que desde el primer día me acogieron y me permitieron vivir la experiencia junto a ellos. Yo llegué a Barcelona con la intención de conocer la ciudad pero me fui conociendo a las personas que la habitarán. Sin duda volveré algún día a verlos. Gracias gracias!

During my stay i learned a lot, and i had a lot of fun. The best part of the stay is the people you meet. The other volunteers i met was amazing. Other than that the hostel is very social, and there is always activites to join, or work at. The shifts were fine, variting, and the hours where usually respected. If you dont feel comfortable doing something, cindy will accomadate you the best she can. I do wish that the person in charge knew more, but there were new receptionst when i started. I also got very sick during my stay wich were respected and i got to rest, cindy was very understanding
