My time here was amazing! All the volunteers and receptionist were great. Very well located there are a lot of activities to do and lots of night life.

Foi uma ótima experiência ter feito voluntariado no hostel. O ambiente é sempre agradável e desde o começo me senti em casa, principalmente com os novos voluntários que chegaram, todos muito boa onda.

Great experience at the hostel! The volunteers (dani, samu and Vera) makes me feel like I was in home. Sadly they had to leave but it's a great hostel and the people soooo coool!! I will come back there 🥰

La experiencia con los voluntarios fue la mejor. hubiera estado bueno que sean poco más flexibles ya que muchos de los que viajamos a veces necesitamos ingresos para poder sobrevivir.

My experiencia en el hostel fue muy buena! Los chicos de recepción me trataron muy bien y de manera muy cercana, y la experiencia hace que tengas un trato muy cercano con los voluntarios lo cual lo hace buenísimo. Lo que podrían mejorar es la habitación de voluntarios, que es bastante apretada para la cantidad. Lo recomiendo para cualquier persona que quiera conocer Barcelona, ya que está muy bien ubicado el hostel, y quiera conocer a muchos viajeros que se hospeden en el hostel, ya que el ambiente fomenta eso :)

La experiencia fue buena, el grupo de voluntarios fue lo mejor! La ubicación del Hostel es ideal ya que está en el centro de la ciudad. Quizás el cuarto de voluntarios podría mejorar ya que es pequeño para la cantidad de personas que duermen en el. El resto de las instalaciones son buenas, todo funciona y se mantiene limpio todo el día. Sin dudar volvería a repetir este voluntariando.

Management is not involved in the volunteer experience whatsoever, just treats you like an employee. Abysmal communication, will only reach out to threaten volunteers with expulsion. The staff dorm is also pretty poor - AC was extremely dirty blowing moldy wet air all over the windowless staff room and management doesn't really care that it was making the volunteers sick. That being said, I loved the fellow volunteers I met there, and I made friendships that will last a lifetime.

I'll start by saying that it's the volunteers that make this experience incredible. You live together, eat meals together and work together and very quickly, you become a family. The hostel is very social and the guests that come to stay are almost always fun and friendly which makes the shifts a lot more enjoyable. Some downsides are that the accommodation is cramped and you only receive one free meal per day, which the guests also receive. Be prepared for a lot of work but living in Barcelona for 5 weeks made it worth it for me. Wouldn't trade the experience for the world.
