The accommodation and everything that went with it like bathrooms and kitchen was very good. Working in the heat was tiring, but it didn't take too long and was fun with the other volunteers. I just had some personal disagreements with the hosts.

We had a wonderful week in Lombos Garden! The outdoor work in nature was very calming and we learned a lot more about gardening. The meditation and yoga daily sessions were amazing as well. The community has a lot of bright souls and the team is also very welcoming and accepting.

The farmis a really nice place in the middle of nature. It's a nice way to meet new people from all around the world. The other volunteers were really nice and we had a lot of fun together. On the other hand, there was a lack of communication and one of the two hosts (Luisa) tried to micro manage every single step of the work we were doing. Therefore the 5 pages of rules Chris talks about in his review are a good example. Furthermore she talk bad about other volunteers behind there backs, which I think was very disrespectful. I hope in the future she will be open to the thoughts of others.

Theo,
It's sad to read your review since we had a good experience with both of you, although there was always a problem of communication with your friend Merle, but, you stayed longer then 1 month as expected, so, it was not a bad experience for you both and for us...
On the other hand, Luisa never speaks behind the back of the volunteers, in fact, her main problem is to be very direct to the volunteers before their arrival and during their staying guiding them to achieve the best result of their work with the less effort.
Using the comments of who stayed with us less then one week not willing to participate in our daily life, can not be compared with you two.
Yes, we do receive volunteers for more then 10 years and, when we provide space for more then 10 persons at the same time, with a constant rotation, is normal that we need clear guidelines to guaranty a clean and organize living for everyone, which was never an issue for you two.. but we understand that you need to protect your friend Merle, as usual.

Beautiful time collaborating with Pujari and Luisa. This is an opportunity to learn about compost, bio charcoal, planting trees and many other tasks related to an ecological and permaculture experience. It's located in the countryside, what makes more special, our lifestyle connected to nature, the sky at night, a reasonable distance to the beach, sunrises and sunsets are amazing things that they offer, as well as Yoga and meditation option for everyone who wants to join. It was time for meet other shiny souls and time for reconnect with my inner self.

The farmis a very transformative volunteer place where you can meet a lot of amazing and inspiring people. It really felt like living in a big family with all the ups and downs. This taught me a lot. The hosts value their guidelines and an active contribution to community life which has to be kept in mind while choosing this place. The work is sometimes physically challenging and the volunteers input was not always welcome. However, the hosts also make sure that you get your own responsibilities in the garden which lets you contribute something personal to this beautiful project.

Pujari and Luisa have a beautiful project. I loved to start and end the day with a session of meditation oPilates. To share with volunteers from so many countries is what made this experience incredible ✨ The food is abundant n although the work can be exhausting sometimes, I enjoyed it n learned a lot. The experience could be better if there was leadership rather than an imposition of rules. It's important to motivate, respect and find others ways than also work. For mental n physical health, I know you will find a better way to LEAD FROM LOVE; you love this project n I hope keep growing

It was a regenerating experience! You work 25 hours a week and you can decide how to spread your working hours from Monday to Saturday. As they say, cooking and cleaning is outside of the 25h, but it's not a big deal. The work is very physical and the hosts, Luisa and Pujari, are very focused on their goal of building the food forest. Work and also meditation are taken seriously.

I had a wonderful time at Lombos Garden. Such a transformative, healing experience led by a fantastic pair teachers and full of lovely people intent on healing themselves and the land. My highest reccomendations to those wanting to immerse themselves in yoga, mediation, agriculture, awareness and healing. All the best going forward, I am excited to see how the projects I contributed towards progress in the future.

Due to the reviews I read. I expected a mindful environment with a way to learn mindful work & develop. I found a lovely venue, with poohjaris fun osho meditations & nice volunteers. Otherwise what I encountered was an environment where mindful communication wasn't encouraged by Luisa. There is a list of rules 5 pages long that she expects to you to remember. She uses aggressive communication & guilt tripping to enforce these rules which does not link well to mindfulness for me nor did the speed at which we plant/work at. I hope more volunteers write honest reviews to help our community.

Well, we can not please all
and not everyone is prepared to get out of his comfort zone.
From the first day, when Christopher did not appear for his first evening meditation, and in the second day morning meeting complained about the gardening work, suggesting working schedule and guidelines changings, it was clear that he did not read everything about us and that was not prepared to work as a meditation.
Christopher is a good guitar player, we wish him a good journey.

Yes, more then 10 years receiving volunteers, we clearly describe our project and our daily life in order who is interested in joining us knows in advance what to expect. At the arrival day we also provide guidelines (done with the input of volunteers) to make it easier to know what is required to maintain our communal life easier (a kind of check list that has no need to be memorized but is good to have it at hand and check it when you need a help / instruction), and also forms to be clear within the volunteer group who's responsible for the tasks that need to be done and how the 25h work a week are given in what is being done.
But, honestly, Christopher seemed to be more interested in leading and entertaining a group then being part of it.
