Sophie and Sally were very welcoming and such lovely people. All the tasks were laid out and explained very well. There was also a great variety of different things that we would do each day. The area is really nice as well with great views from the house and the property. The town is small but charming and there is a bus that is I was able to take to nearby towns to see some sights. Overall it was an amazing experience and I am grateful to Sophie for allowing me to stay :)

I was so happy to visit and incredibly sad to leave. Glastonbury should undoubtedly be included on your bucket-list! Highlights included watching the sunsets with fellow volunteers on the Glastonbury Tor, a 15th century tower that tops a marvellous hill. It gives birth to a white spring, where you can rejuvenate your vessel with an ice cold plunge in the water temple, a quiet space of spiritual awakening. the project is a home, where you will sleep well, eat well, think well and be well, if you allow yourself. Sophie and her fam are absolute gems. In her you will find a friend.

The experience at the project has been truly life changing. Sophie is a caring host who prioritizes your needs and will help you learn the tasks that need to be done. The work is reasonable and varied, there is always something that needs to be done but there is never a rush! Glastonbury is truly a special place that always has something interesting going on. Would love to come back in the future!

It was an incredible experience! My girlfriend and I were warmly welcomed, Sophie hear us about schedules, tasks, and days off. Sophie consistently showed concern for the group and made an effort to engage with the volunteers. While the work could be a bit demanding, especially on sunny days, it was nothing unexpected, and most of the time, the tasks were quite manageable. We had the opportunity to explore Glastonbury thoroughly, as well as the surrounding towns. Overall, it was a fantastic experience.

Sophie is a lovely and caring person who made us feel at home. The past work was always done with understanding and respect. The city of Glastonbury is an extra bonus—it's colorful, diverse, lively, and musical. It's worth including in your itinerary to explore and visit the charity shops and local pubs. It was great to learn about gardening, interact with the insects in the soil, and spend time with the cats

My experience in Glastonbury was the most incredible, and it is probably the best volunteer work I have ever done. Sophie and her family are very kind in opening their home, so you can count on them for anything you need. The work in the garden is very enjoyable, and there are always different things to do, like playing with Gizmo the cat 🐈. Lastly, the town offers a great opportunity to discover British culture, from historical sites to peaceful places where you can enjoy some quiet time, like the Thor. Highly recommended this place ✨

I really enjoy the experience and I recommend! Sophie and his family are very kind. It is very peaceful to stay here, the nature is beautiful. The work was in my capacities. Sophie cook good lunch that we share after work and we can cook for the dinner. There is a good atmosphere with other volonteers. We have time to explore Glastonburry and his places.

It was my first experience of volunteering and I couldn't have hoped for better! Sophie is welcoming and attentive, her family who drop in from time to time are very kind, and I got on very well with the other volunteers! The work isn't too difficult, there are several tasks and I've learnt a lot. It's a wonderful place, with a view over the whole city, surrounded by nature, and close to beautiful towns to visit! I had a very comfortable room and the food is excellent! I would recommend 100%! (And there are 3 cats)

We 100% would recommend a visit and work exchange at the project! It's hard to convey how beautiful the land is, how kind & generous Sophie and Sally are (as well as their other family members who pop by regularly), how delicious the meals they cook are, and how much awesome potential there is on the land. We actually changed our travel plans around so that we can come back here for one more week, as we had such a good time and connected with the family so much! We hope to keep in touch with them all as wonderful members of our international family. So much love & gratitude.
