I was so happy and comfortable at the host. It is a very peaceful, friendly place surrounded by beautiful nature. There wasn't a lot of work to do since I arrived after the coffee harvest season, so sometimes the work schedule wasn't very organised. But as soon as you get used to the laid back, calm lifestyle here you have the best time. It was so much fun to work at the cafe with the staff who do their best even tho their English isn't fluent. Wima and his family created a beautiful home here for all volunteers and staff. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so amazing!<3

Hello there, There is not much left to say in addition to Lauras review 😅. We had a wonderful time at the kopi plantation and we can totally recommend coming here. We had the best time at deKaranganjar. We learned a lot about every step of processing coffee. We had the opportunity to take part at many cultural festivals which was very exciting! The plantation itself is a very beautiful place surrounded by nature. But we also enjoyed all the trips around Blitar to get to know the culture and the food :) The people at the plantation are so nice and warmhearted and we are very greatful that we can call them our friends now! At the end it felt like home and we did not want to leave. Special thanks to Alfi and Wima! Hope to see you soon! Moritz and Laura :)

I had the best time at the plantation. We only stayed two weeks and I kind of wish we could have stayed longer. Everyone was really nice and made us feel welcomed. The work was generally easy and we learned a lot about the whole process of producing coffee. We did some cherry picking, grinding and packing coffee, housekeeping, trash picking, and a few lesson with Aga. On our off days, we did the special tours which weren't free but were really worth it. Thank you for everything !

We spent two weeks at the plantation and it was really great! The people are all really nice, and the environment in which we live is very pleasant. Each person (or duo) has private accommodation with beds, shower and toilet. We learned a lot about coffee. We helped sort the good coffee beans from the bad ones, grind the beans and package the coffee for sale in the shops. The different tasks we had to do each day weren't very complicated.

Had a great time there. I was sick for a few days and they took lovely care of me. Learned a lot about the process of making coffee and Indonesian culture and got to try many traditional dishes and a lot of coffee as well of course. The plantation was very peaceful and the nature really beautiful but the best part were the poeple working and living there. All in all i would definitley recommend the experience:)
