Oh, this place is incredible! I had the opportunity to be part of an amazing team of volunteers and staff, all providing support and creating an environment where everyone feels at home. The hostel is very well-organized. The staff room is excellent, with places to put our belongings and everything is clearly labeled. The kitchen is also well-equipped with appropriate spaces and kept clean. The vibe of the place is great, with surf lessons, skateboarding, bicycles, and beautiful beaches. I am very happy to have had this incredible experience. Thank you for everything, GSH family!🫶

If you're considering this opportunity, definitely do it. Life really is better at the hostel, and the volunteers get basically the best place to sleep in the house. Genuinely, the only bad part of my experience was having to leave. So much art and music and unique souls create a super welcoming community within the hostel.

I had such an amazing time at the hostel !!! I met alot of new people everyday and therefore could practice my spanish and my english really pretty good. The team was amazing aswell and it was a really familiar atmosphere because we did alot of things together. The work was manageable and since we often worked as a team it could also be fun. I definetly enjoyed the free surfboards and surf lessons aswell.

I had the time of my life at GSH. The work was managable, the hours were respected, the manager is very welcoming and makes sure everyone is having a good time! The area is beautiful, both the city and the nature. I definetely want to come back one day and would definetely reccomend it! All the volunteers felt appreaciated and we got a lot in return for our work:)

I just had one of the best experience in the hostel, Gijón is truly beautiful itself, the hostel felt like home instantly, I got the chance to connect with amazing travelers, shout-out to the manager Ezequiel for his amazing work at the hostel and his disposition to listen and care for the volunteers team, I'll be forever grateful with this place for giving me such amazing memories.

GSH was truly an amazing experience! The hostel is quite big there for there is a lot to do, the tasks are still easy though. I had the best time there and got to know so many amazing people that I'm very grateful for. Ezequiel really goes out of his way to make everyone feel welcome and good. Este fue mi primer voluntariado, y fue sin embargo, una gran experiencia, me adapté fácilmente, se respetaron siempre los horarios y días libres, pude conocer un poco de lo lindo que es Asturias. Me toco un equipo magnífico del cual conocí personas maravillosas, al compartir habitación nunca me sentí sola, compartí muchas risas y buenos momentos, llenos siempre de comida y salidas. Ezequiel, el manager es una persona joven, por lo que te sientes en la tranquilidad de compartir tus ideas y dudas. Un mes increíble! En GSH Vivi una experiencia inolvidable, conocí gente (tanto voluntarios, como huéspedes) de todas partes del mundo y con un corazón muy bueno. Eze el manager es una persona increíble, siempre estuvo atento a nuestra comodidad y siempre nos ayudó y explicó todo para que el trabajo fuera más claro. Tuve tiempo para todo, de conocer los alrededores, hacer uso de las tablas, de las bicis, etc… Los horarios siempre se respetan y todo lo que te promete la experiencia, se cumple. Life is better at el hostel🌊✨
