Mey, Esther y Mile las llevaré en mi corazón, hacen que tu estadía sea tan linda y agradable, hice nuevas amistades con las otras voluntarias que sé que nos encontraremos muy pronto. PURA VIDA

My experiences at TDS was amazing! Callie and Jason are great people who are really helpful and accommodating to you during your stay. The staff is very warm and welcoming, they are amazing cooks and the food is delicious. You really get to experience true Costa Rican culture here. I highly recommend this stay to anyone.

Elegi the lodge Sueños para hacer mi primer voluntariado. Desde el primer día todos me acogieron calurosamente. Las personas que forman parte del equipo son personas de bonito corazon, muy trabajadoras y amables. Nos ayudaron en lo que necesitabamos. Y en todo lo que hacen, le ponen amor. El lugar es muy lindo, la comida deliciosa. Mey, trabaja en la mañana, me enseño mucho con el corazon abierto. Un agradecimiento especial a ella. Turnos casi siempre en la cocina y las horas de trabajo divertidas. Creo que la casa de voluntários necesita un poco mas de amor. Recomiendo mucho TDS. Pura vida

La experiencia fue muy buena! Comes rico y estás cerca de playa chiquita (para mi, la mejor). Las personas que trabajan ahí son muy amables y dispuestas a hacer una experiencia agradable, los dueños también. Recomiendo vivirla

La experiencia en el alojamiento Sueños fue fantástica, gracias a todo el equipo de cocina por brindar toda la colaboración para que la estadía sea exitosa, las tareas eran sencillas y se desplegaban en un ambiente de armonía, la casa de voluntarios tenía todo lo que necesitabas, y la ubicación del lodge perfecta a pocos metros de la playa

Ha sido una gran experiencia, es muy recomendable hacer el voluntariado aquí. El ambiente es maravilloso, sus dueños muy amables y el staff lo mejor. Se cumple con el horario. Explican todo, siempre sabes que hacer, cuales son tus tareas. En tu tiempo libre puedes aprovechar de la playa, ir a Puerto u otro lugares. La pasé muy bien y aprendí mucho ✨

TDS is a great experience if you enjoy cooking/serving guests, living close to the beach, yoga/spirituality, meeting locals, and immersing yourself in the local community! Work was 5 hour shifts 5 days on 2 off and the management was very respectful of this. Also the work shifts were very fun, and the people you work with are so amazing! Everyone was so patient, kind, and helpful, and this is a great experience if you want to improve your Spanish speaking skills. Some things to note are you around 5km outside town, so I recommend getting a bike so you can go to town and beaches! Thank you TDS!

El alojamiento Sueños ha sido una gran experiencia, llena de mucho aprendizaje es muy recomendable hacer un voluntariado aquí el ambiente es magnífico, sus dueños excelente, su staff lo mejor. Se cumple con lo pactado, existe un orden y eso es magnífico ya que sabes cuáles son tus deberes. Existe un ambiente de tranquilidad y puedes gozar de mucha paz en medio de la naturaleza y muy cercano a la playa. ¡Ha sido genial!

The people really make the experience here and I was blessed to have wonderful, collaborative, like-minded co-volunteers during my stay, there can be between 2-6 volunteers at any one time. There is a whole team of paid staff in addition to the volunteers, so if there is an issue that comes up it is not stressful to resolve, as there are lots of people you can go to for help and guidance. Tasks are varied so you don't get bored, working in the kitchen was my favorite task. I feel this retreat center attracts really good people, both retreat guests and volunteers. Hope this helps!

My time at the lodge was definitely amazing! I was able to practice my Spanish so much more. Meet amazing people in each Yoga group that came! Callie is such a beautiful soul and she truly made my time there amazing. She is super understanding and involved, she is also a mom and was there for me during a few emotional moments haha. The kitchen staff felt like family and made me feel at home. I will say… if you are not prepared to live jungle life (no AC, the bugs, cold showers) then definitely prepare to adjust. Once i adjusted, the lodge really felt like home.
