I had a wonderful time at Hege's farm and even ended up extending my stay because I didn't want to leave. Hege and her family are super welcoming and always there when you need help. The work hours are flexible and the work is very rewarding and diverse. In gerneal, Hege has a lot of trust in her volunteers and allows us to work independently and to choose the tasks that we wanna do. I had a great time with the other volunteers and we used our free time to explore the surrounding nature, go kajaking, and spend time together at home

My experience was beyond amazing! This was my first Worldpackers experience, Hege and her family made me feel so welcome and at home on the farm. The alpacas all have such wonderful personalities and working them was an absolute joy. Hege always made sure we felt comfortable with the tasks we are given and was so happy to answer any questions we had. Staying on the farm i met so many wonderful people, I would recommend this experience with anyone and would love to come back again in the future.

Beautiful experience, in a very warm and familiar environment. Hege and her family are incredible and whenever they can they are willing to take you on an excursion to see the places near the farm. The tasks are quite intense but it is super rewarding to be able to see results and the halter training alpacas is the most beautiful moment.

Staying with Hege and her family was a fantastic experience. The whole area is just gorgeous; there are two nice mountains right in your backyard and plenty of beautiful woods everywhere around. You can do all sorts of sports here: cycling, hiking, kayaking, swimming, etc. The work at the farm is also quite diverse, it is usually possible to do different things every day. Hege is very kind, and always happy to help or give advice. The volunteer place is cozy and the other volunteers are great companions. I recommend this place to everybody who likes to stay close to nature.

I could not have imagined my first volunteer experience to be better. Hege and her family are wonderful people who made me feel welcome and appreciated. It felt more like working together as opposed to very hierarchical. Together with three other volunteers we stayed in a house right on the farm. We worked and lived together and were able to connect and share our cultures amongst each other and with Hege. Being outside a lot, enjoying the silence and caring for the animals made me feel productive and peaceful. I am so thankful that I got this opportunity and hope to be back someday. :)

I could not say anything bad about the experience at the farm. Hege is a wonderful person who makes you feel at home, always attentive, smiling and taking care of the volunteers all the time. The tasks are enjoyable and flexible, always in contact with nature and animals, something that has made me connect with my inner child and for which I will always be grateful. The place is extremely beautiful and the alpacas are amazing animals. I can only find good words to describe my time there, I would return without hesitation, a little piece of my heart will stay here forever.

My experience at the farm was nothing short of wonderful. Hege and her family were incredibly kind and accommodating. Communication was great and I felt very safe the entire time. The living arrangements were spacious, very clean and the work was interesting and enjoyable. I couldn't recommend this experience more to anyone wanting a month or so of peaceful, rewarding volunteering!

The best experience I could asked for, Hege was super duper lovely, very kinda and gentle would give variety of task to choose from. She baked some lovely foods for to enjoy (she's talented chef). The place was a house for volunteers which was lovely, great views and rooms. I loved spending time with the alpacas, and the other animals on the farm. Had great time with other volunteers. Lots of hiking and wild swimming, biking Couldn't recommend it more!!! Hope to visit again sometime:))

My time here was beautiful, a nice and calm place in the mountains with so much nature, swiming and hinking activities arround to do every day. Being and working with Hege was incredible ! Always nice Comunication, she was so gentle and I enjoyed it so much. Being with the other volunteers was also great ! And i definetly recommend this experience, it was amazing !!

Amazing place to be close to nature. Our home was located between two little mountains and the ocean. I enjoyed to have a morning run to the mountain top and have a Birds Eye view. I enjoyed exploring nearby islands and go fishing with John. Hege is very friendly and kind, I'm grateful for knowing her😊
