Un séjour merveilleux J'ai passé un moment génial avec Alain et David, tous deux patients, dynamiques et très généreux. J'ai découvert plein de choses, amélioré mon français et enrichi mon vocabulaire. Uli et Uta sont adorables—j'ai adoré être entourée de moutons et de poules. Et côté cuisine… le chatchuka d'Alain est délicieux ! David cuisine aussi très bien et partage volontiers ses astuces. Merci pour cette belle expérience, riche en apprentissages et en tendresse.

During our time as volunteers, we were welcomed with kindness and hospitality. We enjoyed delicious homemade meals and had the chance to discover regional wines. We're also deeply grateful for the help we received in learning French. Our hosts were patient. My stay with David and Alain was just what I needed: a peaceful place surrounded by nature and French culture. The tasks were simple and varied, a mix of building, gardening, and helping around the house, which kept things interesting and fun. I appreciated the balance between quiet moments and social time; there were always guests or friends around. I enjoyed chatting with David while helping him and learn new skills with Alain. Thank you both for the warm welcome, I'll miss the girls for sure. It was a lovely experience!

I had a beautiful time in the guest house, the little town can get pretty quiet but it's the perfect spot to disconnect from the hussle of traveling. the house is beautiful, you really don't need much else. The tasks were straightforward, can get intense under the sun but never too demanding. David cooks delicious meals every day and the little day trips I made to Saint Emilion or Bordeaux were just right. I appreciated my stay here so much, Thank you both for a nice time <3

La experiencia junto a David y Alan fue increíble, para ser mi primera experiencia dejó la vara muy alta para los siguientes voluntariados, de verdad me hicieron sentir como en casa. Siempre fueron muy atentos y estuvieron siempre disponibles para explicarnos las labores y también ayudarme a mejorar mi francés. Recomiendo 100% esta experiencia.

Una experiencia increíble! Fue nuestro primer voluntariado y no pudo haber sido mejor. Alan, David y Floriane son unas excelentes personas, nos hicieron sentir como en casa en todo momento. La casa es muy linda, con muchas áreas verdes y animales. La habitación muy cómoda y espaciosa. Las tareas son de construcción, jardinería, limpieza de habitaciones, planchado, entre otras. Nada muy complejo. Alan te explica muy bien y con paciencia todo lo que debes hacer. Esperamos poder volver en un futuro o reencontrarnos en Chile. Muchas gracias por todo!

Recomendo porque o quarto onde fiquei é grande, bem iluminado e muito bonito. As comidas são diversas: entrada, prato principal e sobremesa. Davi é ótimo cozinheiro. Trabalhei com o Alain e foi muito legal, ele é jardineiro e quando tem serviço pesado trabalha junto. A casa é grande e possui a revista francesa GEO, músicas boa etc. Procura o professor da Escola-Circo, em Blasimon. Ele tem folga de meio-dia às duas, me apresentou cultivo de cogumelos em caverna, produção artesanal de pão etc. Agradeço ao David e Alain pelos amigos que me fizeram favores: vinhos, caronas etc. Merci beaucoup.

NO WORDS! Fantastic! In a romantic house, a fabulous garden, and like a French village from the movies, I had a profound experience. Alain, David, and Floriane are wonderful guests: welcoming, friendly, relaxed, and fun. I loved working in the garden and taking care of the house. Willing to explain the work to be done, they deeply respected my space and my time. I learned French humor, a chef's kitchen, and all their wonderful friends. Beauty, physical work, nature, friendship, fun, and French culture!!! From my heart, thank you very much to ALL "Ruch's people"!!!

For my first experience as a volunteer, I loved the three weeks I spent with Alain and David! A magnificent setting, a lovely room, interesting and always pleasant work with Alain (muscle building guaranteed!), David's tasty cuisine and above all an incredibly warm welcome. Alain and David are adorable, kind and caring... You feel right at home, with real moments of exchange and sharing, enriching and even funny discussions, great encounters: Fabrice, Elisa, Driss... An unforgettable experience. Many thanks for everything!

La experiencia fue muy positiva. Ellos son muy amables y la comida de David es excelente, variada y deliciosa. El horario es de 9:00 a 17:00, con un descanso para el almuerzo de 1hr, puede que llegues a trabajar más horas. Mis tareas incluyeron organizar y cortar la madera, demoliciones con herramientas manuales, y trabajos de jardinería y construcción. Los fines de semana son libres para explorar lugares cercanos como Burdeos o Saint Emilion. Me prestaron una bicicleta para recorrer más. También te pueden llevar y recoger de la estación de Castillon
