My experience at the hostel couldn't have been better. At the very beggining we were helping with the reopening and I was worried about learning English and meeting international travelers as there were no guests, but it soon turned one of the most exciting experiences of my life when the hostel opened. Fergal is super nice and he makes you feel home. I was also worried about the fact of living in the middle of nature, far from any town, but I got used to it as well and we were also able to sleep in Galway on our days off. I would definetely recommend it!

The experience has been a pleasant one. Fergal and Donna are very nice people who listen to you and look after you. The location and surroundings are idyllic. However, transport and communications are poor so I got around by hitchhiking. I learnt about running a hostel from the inside. I recommend the stay.
