I enjoyed my time at Huitzilin so much! 4 weeks pass by very fast and all the other volunteers and the manager were great people. I will miss them! The work was easy and very manageable, there was enough time to explore Puerto. The hostel has a nice area to relax and socialize. The location in Zicatela is great, as you are kind of in the middle of Puerto and can reach La Punta or Centro by Colectivo very fast and its only 5 minutes down to the beach to watch the amazing sunset. All in all I would recommend volunteering at Huitzilin if you are looking for a relaxed and amazing experience!

The hostel is super well located. There's good food, the beach, the bus stop and lots os clubs around. The pool here is amazing, some days you don't even feel like leaving the hostel. The job is ok, 5 hours a day and you can enjoy Puerto Escondido like no one else. Highly recommend!

Fue una experiencia increíble, la manger ale hacía un ambiente súper agradable tanto con los huéspedes como con todos los voluntarios y eso se veía reflejado en el ambiente tan bonito que se sentía todos los días al estar en Huitzilin 🌊❤️

No sé ni por donde empezar, realmente mi experiencia en Huitzilin fue de las mejores cosas que me pudo haber pasado. Desde que llegué me sentí como en casa, mi equipo de trabajo se convirtió en mi familia y el hostal, en mi hogar. De Huitzilin me llevo muchas experiencias, desde solución de problemas hasta practicar mis idiomas, pero lo más hermoso que me llevo es un corazón lleno de alegría y de amor. Convivir con mi equipo, con los huéspedes, con locales, todo, fue realmente increíble. Regresaría a Huitzilin a voluntariar sin pensarlo dos veces. GRACIAS

Recomiendo mucho hacer un voluntariado en Huitzilin!! Un hostal con una vibra hermosa y siempre se respetó lo acordado respecto a los turnos de trabajo! Pude coincidir con personas hermosas y llenarme de recuerdos que nunca olvidare!! Me hubiera gustado quedarme más de un mes pero tenía que regresar a mi ciudad🥲. Gracias a Jaime y Fabi por permitirme formar parte de un hostal que siempre quedará marcado en mi corazón!!

I had an amazing time at Huitzilin Hostal! The whole crew felt like a little family, the hostel is very peaceful and cute and is such a nice space to gather and meet other travellers. The communication with both managers and volunteers is very straightforward and the job is a lot of fun and chill. Everything we agreed on was respected and everyone showed a lot of flexibility when needed. I would 100% recommend to stay and volunteer in this little paradise :) thank you for this experience 💛

My experience at Huitzilin Hostel was very positive! The environment is peaceful and well located. The tasks are simple and organized, which allowed me to enjoy my free time. The team was always respectful and welcoming, I felt comfortable throughout my stay. It was a great opportunity for exchange and connection with amazing people. Good location, amazing facilities, amazing foods and a very chill and good atmosphere. Volunteering at Huitzilin was what I was looking for, a chil place to enjoy Puerto, having the chance either to make good friends, relax listening to music close to the pool or getting a nice night out with wonderful people.

I did my first volunteering in Huitzilin Hostal and I recommend it 100%. The owners are very nice and flexible, the volunteer team is very cool, and the hostal is very well located. Huitzilin is a big family and I felt home.
