this is the Night attendant role shifts start at 6:55pm -10pm. Duties include:
Laundry / cleaning/ after hours arrivals/ on-call from 10pm-9am for emergencies ( I.e guest forgot key access card) & ensuring the guests safety.

Room attendant - and bed changes - 10am - 1pm

Descrizione: Volunteers receive credit as recognition for their time and effort. This system allows flexibility: A volunteer who works 14 hours per week will have their full accommodation costs covered. A volunteer who is only available for 7 hours per week will still receive credit, but they will need to contribute the difference towards their accommodation.

Dettagli del programma

Please note the following:
- We require at least 4 weeks guaranteed continuous availability to consider you for this position
- Every hour you work we credit you $22 off the cost of your following week's accommodation
- all crew must pay their first week's rent upon check-in to the hostel
- We guarantee to provide at least 5 hours work a week, with the intention of providing 10-13 hours.
- If your credits amount to less than your full week's rent, you are required to pay the remaining amount on rent day
- If your credits amount to more than your full week's rent, extra credits roll over to the following week
- Rostering is based on availability, performance & balancing hours between all staff members

The Night warden shift is counted as 3 hours - 3 working and then on call just in case a guest is locked out - each phone call received between 11pm-8am is worth 1 hour of credit

Regole

Our basic rule is be respectful and friendly.
We also have a list of hostel rules for our guests and staff. Again these are basics such as don't make lots of noise and mess. We are a dry hostel, not a party hostel and suited to people who enjoy their sleep :)
