Mariela and Csaba the managers are truly amazing, they made my time more enjoyable, + the team of volunteers was great. Regarding the place, was not what I expected, not really a clean environment, is more a residential place than a hostel so the guest don't really rotate a lot, there is people with bad bad hygiene habits and that was my fist chocking experience. Volunteers kitchen was not a place that you can really cook. But with the time you get in to the routine. I will definitely no recommend this experience for someone that wants to practice english, there are 0 social spaces.

The experience was very nice! But somethings you need to know before you go: There's no equipment in the woman's volunteer kitchen. There's no fork, knives, plates. For eat the food that is provide you need to cross the Kensington park, is about 30 minutes everyday. They give you 20 bucks to buy your food, so is nice, you can buy stuff for breakfast, lunch and do the dinner in the other place. Telling the truth i like the experience. When you know what you want in London, is easy to not complain. Go and have your own experience :)

The time I spent at the hostel was good, the people were very kind, the work is sometimes a little tiring, but time was always respected and very flexible, my only complaint is that the TV area was closed, which made it difficult have some moments of conviviality. I would especially like to thank Mariela and Csaba as they were very kind, I loved the time I stayed, there are many museums around and very close to the parks and supermarkets.

Foi meu primeiro voluntariado, assim como a 1ª vez em um país de língua inglesa e, claro, é importante frisar que essa review parte de uma análise estritamente pessoal. + localização; apoio na alimentação (Tesco+refeições no hostel); - Não há espaço para socializar (a TV room estava lacrada); no meu quarto haviam 2 brasileiras, o que dificultou o propósito da minha viagem (idioma); A melhorar: incentivo/motivação aos voluntários, assim como check de tasks atribuídas (alguns WP voltavam para dormir no quarto, enquanto outros trabalhavam dobrado); cozinha pequena e sem circulação de ar.

The place has a great location and it's a safe area. They provide a good and comfy room. The job is pretty easy and they respect the hours. Mariela is super flexible. Thanks for the experience :)

Unfortunately I couldn't stay long in the hostel, but the rooms were incredibly nice, with a wardrobe for each volunteer, a sink in the room, and to big windows. The hostel by itself looks like a little maze but after a while you can get it, a thing to notice is that the kitchen has no cutlery and you basically have to buy your own cooking stuff like pans etc.

A experiência no hostel foi ótima, apesar do ambiente ser diferente do q eu esperava. Não é um hostel de viajantes mas sim um lugar onde residentes na cidade dividem quartos. O horário de turno não é flexível mas o trabalho é tranquilo e cumprido de acordo com o combinado, e te deixam a vontade para dizer caso não concorde com algo. Pra mim o pior ponto foi a distância pro local das refeições mas, como tem uma ajuda de custo, uma coisa compensa a outra. No geral foi uma boa experiência e espero poder voltar quando vier pra Londres novamente. Obrigada Mariela e Csaba, foi um prazer conhecê-los <3

It's definitely a good place to volunteer! The room is very comfortable and warm. The other volunteers are super nice and the staff is always there to help you making sure you don't push yourself and always do everything in your own time. It's a good environment. :) Location is pretty good as well and we do have a food allowance weekly to shop at the supermarket. Just keep in mind It's a 30 min walk to the place where you have dinner/lunch, but you go through a beautiful park and they have vegan options. They were very flexible about the dates as well!

My experience at the hostel was very good, everyone was very friendly to me and always attentive. Special thanks to Mariela for the opportunity and support. This hostel is well located and is a good option for those who want to stay in the center of London ❤️❤️
