I couldn't have dreamed of a better place to have my first Worldpackers experience! I really enjoyed my time at the hostel. From the very beginning, Jen and the rest of the team made me feel at home! Everything was done to make us volunteers feel welcomed. The hostel provides meals throughout the day, and the weekly pocket money is a great plus to the experience. Overall, I feel grateful for all the people—staff members and other volunteers—I've met there.

Minha experiência no the hostel foi incrível do inicio ao fim, foi uma das minhas melhores experiências de voluntariado. A equipe é incrível tanto das pessoas que trabalham já como Jen, Liz, Ravi, GOPI, e as pessoas que trabalham na limpeza te dando todo apoio. A alimentação é muito boa, a ajuda semanal para comprar alimentos salva muito. E a mesada semanal ajuda bastante a nós que somos viajantes a acreditar em experiências super positivas e que se equilibra com o que é pedido em troca! Super obrigado Jen pela oportunidade! Vou sentir saudades desse lugar e de tudo que vivi, apoio e amigos ❤️

The stay at the hostel was truly amazing! The staff and other volunteers were extremely friendly ❤️ The work hours are a bit long for a volunteering position but the pocket money and food budget compensated for it. The breakfast, drinks and evening pizza was free and truly the best! One thing, if you are a light sleeper, be prepared to sleep in the team dorm. The elevator is just behind the wall and the constant door slamming wakes you up at night.. Other than that, thank you for everything, I had a great time!

This was my first volunteer experience, I spent a month here and had a great time! The team was very friendly and welcoming. I made some great memories during my stay here! Though I got to say this is not an extremely social hostel, so the vibe and socializing depends on the volunteers and guests. There were times where the social aspect lacked a bit but it was always nice to talk to guests. The working hours could feel a bit long at times when there wasn't a lot to do but there was always someone to chat with. Thanks to this experience I learned new things and met amazing people☺️🫶

I had a great experience at the hostel! Jen and the whole staff are amazing people and always made me feel welcomed and comfortable. Work is easy to learn, even if sometimes the shifts are a bit long. The pocket money and the food budget are a big plus. The location is perfect and the atmosphere in the hostel is always friendly e welcoming. I truly reccomend this volunteering experience!

Foi uma experiência incrível, eu não esperava que fosse um lugar tão legal para se voluntariar. Normalmente estamos acostumados a ouvir histórias não muito legais, mas essa experiência me fez ver o voluntariado de outra forma. Com toda certeza aconselho a todos a voluntariarem e se possível no the hostel 💕💕

I had an amazing experience at the hostel! Jen is truly wonderful—such a kind and supportive person. Speaking Portuguese or Spanish will definitely be an advantage here, as it makes communication smoother. While I did find the working hours a bit long for a volunteer position, the overall experience and what you get in return more than make up for it.

I don't have enough words to express how amazing was this experience for me. Since the first moment I got to the hostel it felt like home. I made friends who became family not only with other volunteers but also with the staff. the hostel Hostal and Lisbon now and always will have a piece of my heart. I also want to thank Jen for being such a wonderful person with all of us, she was our mamá gallina always taking care of us. I miss everyone already. In the other hand the job was very easy and the instructions so clear. The pocket money and the food budget it's such a plus n the food was delicious
