It was my first time doing volunteer work and I couldn't expect anything better. The hosts always treated me with the utmost respect, instructions were clear and schedules were honored. I'm grateful not only for meeting new people but also for making good friends. Hope they always have responsible and commited volunteers because they deserve it. Thank you Ana and Christian!

Fue mi primer experiencia como voluntaria y me gustó! Ana y Cristian son grandes anfitriones, me hicieron sentir cómoda. El trabajo fue tal cual lo pactado, las tareas, los horarios y días de descanso. En mis ratos libres tuve la posibilidad de conocer muchos lugares y pueblos por la zona. Se puede pasear con cuidado durante el día, pero después del atardecer no lo recomiendan. El predio de Ana y Cristian es maravilloso, los atardeceres ahí son espectaculares. Lo recomiendo!

Mi experiencia en the hostel fue simplemente mágica: un refugio donde la naturaleza y la tranquilidad se combinan para brindarte momentos inolvidables. Cada rincón invita a desconectar y a reconectar contigo mismo, con un horizonte que parece fundirse entre el cielo y el mar. Ana y Christian, los anfitriones, son el alma de este lugar, siempre atentos, cálidos y dispuestos a compartir risas y enseñanzas que enriquecen el espíritu. Si tienes la oportunidad de unirte a este proyecto como voluntario, no lo dudes. Es una experiencia enriquecedora.

Hola :) my experience with Christian and Ana was very good. I've had such a great time there. The work is really fair and not to hard. Solemnly simple tasks like working with the machete or painting walls. You won't achieve new skills in gardening or maintenance but the working atmosphere is quite relaxed. You share a comfortable dorm with other volunteers. Sometimes the toilet doesn't work. There are great opportunities to spend your spare time, for example on the beach or the villages close to your location. You can surf, visit islands or enjoy cocktails at Puerto Lopez.

Christian and Ana are amazing hosts that take care of everything and eve gave me advice for future travel plans! The work changes daily and is always around maintenance of the hostel or other amenities. The place itself is pretty remote even from salando the town so it's something to consider - it's 15-20 min walk to get to the town and for puerto Lopez you need a bus/taxi. Still I felt that there was more than enough time for exploration and activities in the area. In my opinion this place is more suitable for pairs or groups

Tuve una buena estadía con Ana y Christian. Las tareas eran variadas (jardinería, limpieza, trabajo de la madera…). Los dos son muy hospitalarios y pasamos agradables veladas juntos. los alrededores son hermosos! ¡Recomendaría este trabajo voluntario!

Conocer este lugar estuvo lleno de magia a donde sea que mirabas encontrabas una linda vista al mar rodeado de naturaleza y tranquilidad, Ana y Cris unas excelentes personas te sentirás bien interactuando Los trabajos son tranquilos y divertidos Se los recomiendo un excelente lugar para desconectar.

Mi experiencia en the hostel fue excelente. Ana y Christian son personas muy honradas, altruistas, hospitalarias, entre otras cualidades. the hostel es un lugar hermoso y tranquilo, con mucha energía que genera bienestar. Me siento muy agradecida por esta experiencia y sin dudas la recomiendo. Salango estuvo tranquilo y seguro a mi parecer. Los horarios cumplen con lo acordado y los voluntarios cuentan con dos casas especialmente para ellos.

From the very start I felt so welcomed and at home. First volunteer experience and some of the work was pretty heavy but very rewarding. I loved that it was so isolated from the city it really forces you to get in touch with nature.

Es un lugar maravilloso frente al mar y con espectaculares miradores donde verás desde pelicanos hasta ballenas y constantemente estás en la naturaleza. Las cabañas son espacios muy cómodos y tienen todo lo que necesitas. Ana y Christian son personas muy especiales siempre atentos y activos, brindan el mejor ejemplo y son muy colaboradores. En el lugar siempre hay muchas actividades y tareas diversas que relacionan el embellecimiento y mantenimiento del lugar... Recuerda traer los alimentos y lo que quieras y necesitas para comer, es muy importante para pasar los días más tranquilamente.
