Fue mi primera experiencia de voluntariado y ha superado totalmente mis expectativas. Mi principal objetivo era mejorar mi inglés, aunque fuera un poco, y eso está conseguido, pero no es lo que más importancia tiene ahora mismo para mí. Lo más importante es el montón de experiencias, personas y memorias que llevaré conmigo toda la vida. Pues el equipo de voluntarios y recepcionistas hacen una gran labor para ayudarte a explorar la ciudad (preciosa por cierto, pero cara) y a sentirte incluida. Las horas de trabajo se cumplen y la habitación de voluntarios está bien. Súper recomendable :)

I took some time to think well about what to write because it is not easy. It was my first experience and I must thank all the staff and volunteers so much for making me feel at home from day one. I didn't just find friends, I found a family to share new experiences and strong emotions with. I recommend this hostel 110%, everyone is ready to help and support you in both the work aspect and the emotional and sentimental aspect, I didn't feel like I was working a single day! Special thanks to Stephanie for welcoming me into her arms! I owe you so much.❤️

Hello, the hostel! This is my first work exchange and it turned out better than I expected. I enjoyed working with other volunteers and staffs from different parts of the world. Stephanie is a kind and understanding manager with reasonable boundries. The hours were great and you have flexibility to swap with another volunteers to schedule your time. You have time to explore the places by yourself and with other volunteers. I'll forever remember this summer and grateful for experience 💗

If you like Harry Potter, Whisky, medieval architecture, nice people, dancing in clubs and rest and inspire your mind, come to Edinburgh, come to “the hostel” 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 It has an amazing vibe, a beautiful view in the big windows in the reception, a great, happy and lovely team of volunteers, staffs and manager 🕊️I really wanna come back one day, I loved the experience, always seagull in my 💙

This experience exceeded every expectation that i had! Steph and the reception team create a great and fun atmosphere to work around, the work itself is really easy and flexible, you can go out almost any day and it generally feels like a vecation and not a volunteer work. Highly recommended!!

I couldn't have asked for a better first Worldpackers experience, it was amazing getting to know the other volunteers and employees at the hostel while also chatting to guests staying there from all over. Stephanie was an amazing boss to have and I'm very grateful for the positive environment that is always kept in the hostel, it really felt like home away from home and I will always remember this experience and city very fondly <3

Fui Surpreendida!! Não imaginava que seria tão agradável o tempo que passei como voluntária!! A Stephanie é uma ótima pessoa, e sempre está atenta a detalhes a fim de deixar tudo melhor para os guests e para os voluntários!! Sem dúvida foi um dos melhores lugares q eu estive!! Voltaria com certeza!!

It was my first volunteer opportunity and Everything was great from my first day to the last. The place feels really like home, the tasks are very clear everything is managed well. And everyone will have the time and more to explore the beautiful city Edinburgh

I had the most amazing first experience with worldpackers at the hostel. The work was clear and easy, stephanie was very kind and as well clear as a manager. The whole hostel envirement was very chill and fun. I was very motifated to work hard and make the difference for the guests and the other volunteers. I vpuld never expect that this place and the people i met would leave me with so much crazy amazing and sweet memories, we worked together as a team and did so much fun activities after. It was like a family. I 100% recoment this place for volunteers as guests!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Friendly, sociable, reliable, proactive, easygoing, upbeat and always smiling with a great positive attitude, Noah was an absolute pleasure to have around, both socially and work-wise.
