It was a good experience. The location is great and the work is fair. I met friends for life there. The hostel is not really a place for backpackers, but it is a good place.

I had the opportunity to work as a kitchen assistant. the chef Gigi and Flavio are incredible and their food is very good. The team made my experience a good one and help me in any situation. The location is incredible and I had time to get to know London and do many activities. It is an experience that I recommend.

The hostel Volunteers & Staff is what makes this experience Great! :), I was able to build a good relationship with other volunteers. We all helped/supported each other. I worked in the evenings in the Canteen serving food. The work was not too hard, although it can get intense when it gets busy, and some guests can be rude and difficult to handle. Overall I would recommend the hostel, as made some great memories and moments :) Thanks the hostel

The work is fairly easy and 2 meals a day are very helpful. You work 6 days a week but management is flexible if you need a day off/need to leave early (so thank you for that Laurent!). I had a good time with the other volunteers and met a lot of great people, but just keep in mind this is a longer stay residence so it won't be like a typical hostel. Thank you everyone I will miss you all very much!

I was here for 3 weeks. My first job was cleaning showers and after a few days I started working breakfast shifts. The working hours are always respected and you will have enough time to explore London. Just make sure what is the task you're going to do on the interview. The location is perfect, everything you need is just a few minutes away. The food is fine. Room atmosphere depends on your roommates. If you're looking for socialising and meeting new people this is not the best place (everything has to be silent after 23.00). I did build a good friendship with other volunteers :)

It was my first experience and it was so good. I've been working in the kitchen with Gigi (chef) it was easy and nice work with him, he is a very good person. The food is good and the room it depends of your roommates. The location is perfect, it has near underground, bus and you can walk to many places like Hyde park, Oxford street, Buckingham Palace, etc. The only bad things is that the place is not a hostel so is difficult to socialize. Anyway I recommend to have this experience.

The people were all very nice, respectful, and generally helpful. The problem was, they put me in a room that was infested with bed bugs. Not cool I eventually learned that they've had a bed bug infestation in this room for well over a year, maybe 2. To their credit, they have tried to use chemicals to exterminate the bed bugs, including twice during the month I was there. But obviously they're not willing to do what's necessary to actually solve the problem once and for all, which would require leaving the room empty for a couple months and replacing all the beds. So beware.

Foi uma boa experiência. O trabalho era fácil de realizar, porem estressante em alguns dias, por causa do movimento na cozinha e pouco staff Sandeman mais parece um residencia nao propiamente um hostel. Alguns hospedes "loucos" Com suas particularidades. Cama boa, quarto poderia ter um ventilador pelo menos. O verao estava insuportavel 😑 A comida é boa o Staff simpático O Jacob é bom ouvinte e flexivel. Resolve os problemas, qdo lhe são expostos. A localização é perfeita. Gratidão

Decidi ficar só um dia porque não gostei do que vi e senti lá. Só vale porque Londres é caríssimo pra se hospedar, então o pessoal acaba ficando. Atmosfera ruim, sem treinamento para o trabalho e eles não se importam se tu gostou ou não, já que tem muita procura, afinal, é Londres. Não é um lugar de viajantes, então a troca é com os colegas voluntarios, que eram otimas pessoas. Talvez Worldpackers não seja pra mim, mas senti que não era uma ajuda mútua com aquele espírito de viajantes que achei que fosse a proposta, pra eles é só uma forma de ter uma mão de obra pra tocar o negócio.
