This was my first experience volunteering with Worldpackers, and it was the most wonderful place to spend 4 weeks. I cannot recommend the hostel enough as the perfect little home away from home. The community that Olga and Gabor have created is incredible, and each and every person that walks through the door immediately feels welcome and as if they have joined a little family. I got along very well with the other volunteers, and we had a clear and equitable schedule for work with plenty of free time to explore. I will never forget my sweet time at the hostel. I hope to return very soon :)

I had the most amazing time at the hostel, it really felt like home immediately. Olga is so kind and so eager to help people get to know Budapest, she has the best recommendations! I will be back for sure, I miss it already! 💕

Volunteering at the hostel was the best experience I've ever had!🥹🫶 The owners and other volunteers greeted me with open arms and made sure that I was comfortable🌷 Olga and Gabor are amazing host and most importantly incredibly kind and sweet people, that care about this wonderful hostel and their guests, volunteers 🫶 Words can't describe how much I adore this place, i hope to come back to volunteer again! Volunteering at the hostel was hands down the most fun I've ever had! From the moment I arrived, I felt like part of a family. Gabor and Olga are truly incredible hosts — supportive, kind, and genuinely care about both the volunteers and guests. They create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere that makes working there enjoyable. The hostel itself has such a special vibe, and feels more like a shared apartment with friends than a hostel. There's always someone interesting to meet, and the communal energy makes it super easy to connect with people from all over the world.

I could not recommend the hostel enough as a first time volunteering experience. It was simply a wonderful and magical time spent with Olga, Gabor and my fellow volunteer team ! The owners are incredibly respectful and understanding of the people both volunteering and staying at the hostel, they make sure that everyone feels comfortable, secure and welcomed within the hostel. The hostel itself feels like a small and cozy home so it is easy to talk with other people and tidy the space. I would overall highly recommend this experience with Olga and Gabor !! Missing this place a lot xx

Volunteering at the hostel was so much fun! I started for one month and ended up staying for 3, just had a really good time there. Olga and Gabor are super nice and always ready to help with whatever issue you have, whether it was personal or related to the work. The other volunteers were also really nice, and between them and the guests there was always someone to talk to and spend time with. It really did feel like a home away from home, leaving was so sad, but I hope I can come back soon! <3

My month at the hostel was wonderful. Olga and Gabo are very responsive hosts and, being locals, have a wealth of information about Budapest that they are excited to share. Work was easy and fun, and Olga and Gabo da good job of choosing other staff members because the other volunteers were warm, hardworking, and kind. Olga was very flexible in helping me work out a modified schedule when my the hostel hours conflicted with a different work commitment, which was a lifesaver. 10/10 recommend!

I had such an amazing time volunteering here! It was my first volunteering experience so I didn't know what to expect, but Olga and Gabor really made me feel like part of a big family. The tasks were easy, the place is really nice and I was always very comfortable. They truly care about your well-being and happiness, and there's plenty of time to explore the city. I absolutely recommend volunteering here. I would've loved to stay longer, and I'll definitely come back!

Hosts Olga and Gabor go above and beyond to ensure not only the well-being of every guest but also that each volunteer has an amazing time during their stay. the hostel is a cozy, family-like hostel nestled in the heart of the city center. Thanks to its small size, cleaning is quick and manageable, and the number of check-ins and check-outs is always reasonable. I highly recommend this experience if you're a relaxed, outgoing person looking to explore one of Europe's most underrated capitals!
