Come have fun and volunteer at Prague's best party hostel!

First of all, I wanna be clear that I didn't have much time in that hostel, but I had one of the most traumatizing experiences in my life. I'm not gonna get into details, I already talked to the Worldpackers about it. I know it's a party hostel and “stuff” happens, but I never felt SO disrespected, uncomfortable, unsafe and violated as a volunteer and as a woman, by OTHER volunteers. After what happened, I couldn't sleep, I couldn't work with them, cause how could I… I don't recommend it.

We’re sorry that your experience didn’t go so well. However, the situation could have been made better if you had informed us that you were arriving a day earlier than you had told us. You also showed up very late that evening and it was a bit of a surprise for your roommates. It’s understandable that you didn’t want to continue with volunteer placement but I’d like to add that you stayed only one night and approximately 9 hours in the hostel so it’s difficult to add any relevant info to your review about how we operate and run the hostel for future volunteers. We consider this a one off incident that has been dealt with.

I wasn't at the hostel long enough to be able to speak to or relate to everyone else's experience there. However, in my short time there, I was very uncomfortable and dissatisfied with my fellow volunteers and managers. I have never been so disrespected and felt so unsafe in an environment with fellow coworkers, colleagues, or volunteers. Maybe it was just my experience, but I can't recommend this to any other volunteers.

The lack of communication about your arrival added to this situation as you arrived with your partner a day earlier than we expected. Normally, we would have prepared your beds and your roommates would have been informed of your arrival. It’s unfortunate that you didn’t have a good experience with us but I’d like to point out that it was a very short stay, 1 night only, and that our manager did speak to you in the morning after the incident and tried to reach out afterwards.

My experience at the hostel was the best! I had a lot of fun, the people you meet there (staff, volunteers and guests) become your family. The work is quite easy and fair cause the benefits you get in return are very good. I highly recommend this experience! Best option if you wanna have funn(especially if you really like to party 😜) i will always want to come back to the hostel , my home in the hostel ❤️ :)

I loved my time at the hostel and would definitely recommend if you want to volunteer in a party hostel. It's super social and everyone made me feel really welcome. the hostel is really fun and the shifts were exactly as described.

My time at the hostel has been insanely fun, fast-paced & unforgettable. It's hard to describe how grateful I am to have volunteered here - I met such great people and learnt a lot. The owners and staff were instantly very welcoming, and I quickly felt like part of the family. The shifts are well planned out, explained, and fun as they're often with other volunteers & very social. the hostel is also a stunning city to explore. If you're ready to party every night, and work in a great team, I would definitely recommend applying here. I've truly had the best time at the hostel, &will definitely be back!

I had the absolute best time of my life at the hostel! It's difficult to put into words how much I love this place and the people I've met. This hostel (while crazy sometimes - it is a party hostel afterall) feels like home and the people are like family. The tasks are simple, and oftentimes super fun since you'll be running activites and helping to promote the social and party vibe. This position is a great way to see a lot of the city, and make lifelong friends and great memories. the hostel is amazing, I will defintely be back. My stay at the hostel was an unforgettable one, in which I learned many new things and met many new people. The working hours were pretty fluid and very laid back, which was nice albeit confusing at times. The environment is lively, energetic, and rarely boring, which I loved. However if you are very reserved or at all value peace and quiet, I would think long and hard before applying. As a whole this volunteer experience was one of my favorites, and I will forever treasure the memories I made here.

My month at the hostel was intense and a lot of fun. I loved cooking the family dinners and taking guests out to discover the hostel's unique nightlife. The work was very well organized and everything was explained from day 1 so we knew what to expect. I was able to enjoy my free time, explore the city and surroundings. Team work and being proactive is super important to keep a friendly environment! If you're ready to party hard everyday and live hostel life for a while, I highly recommend coming to the hostel <3 Thank you Kraig, Rod and Devon for everything!
