My time at the hostel was amazing! Niamh is a lovely host — super funny, kind and always up for a chat. The tasks were easy to manage and since you never do them alone, they're done quickly. Which leaves plenty of time to explore beautiful Westport and the surrounding area. The best part was definitely the people, especially the other volunteers. We made a lot of funny and nice memories together and they quickly became like family to me. As this was my first volunteering experience, I couldn't have asked for a better place or host. Thank you!

I had an amazing time at the hostel. The hostel was nice and Westport is beautiful. Niamh and all the other volunteers are lovely and it felt like a home. The shared volunteers rooms were cozy and the work was pretty easy and scheduled. I would definitely recommend volunteering here.

I had a lovely stay at the hostel. Niamh is a great host and communication was very easy. The hours of work and tasks are just as agreed on- we actually always finished early. I had a really nice team and we worked together well. Also you will meet lots of different international travellers! The rooms are small but cozy. Only thing I disliked was the shower- which can be quite the challenge.. Other than that you must know that Westport is a really (nice but) small town. But there are other beautiful places around! If you can- come by car, the buses only arrive a few times a day.

Thank you for accepting me here in this hostel! The host is kind and she shared us her dishes with everyone which was wonderful 😊 I love hiking so I enjoyed walking to different places on my day offs and enjoyed Ireland!🇮🇪 Cooking is something I love so it was great to have a kitchen at a hostel to cook!! I loved when we shared or dishes 😋 I would recommend anyone to come to this place!! Thank you!🙏

This was my first time volunteering and I had an amazing experience at the hostel! The work was very easy and most days we finished early so we had a lot of free time to explore the surrounding areas. As soon as I arrived I felt very welcomed and during my stay I made some wonderful friends! Westport is a cozy town with an amazing atmosphere and I can't even describe how much I miss it.

I really enjoyed my time in Westport ...the work was easy, and I had plenty of time to do other things. Immersing myself in the culture was invaluable. The atmosphere and music in the pubs of this town are unique; you won't find them anywhere else in the world....the best part? I made lifelong friends, not just volunteers but locals as well...beside If you enjoy nature this is your place !

It's my second time staying at the hostel, absolutely love the place! Niamh is so lovely and helpful whenever you need her, it's easy to feel right at home here! The other volunteers make you feel welcome immediately after arriving as well. The work is not to hard and very fairly distributed with two days off and not to many hours per day, you'll have lots of time to explore the area. There's a lot of stuff around to do in your free time and Westport is full of lovely people and places! One of my favourite places to stay honestly I would recommend it to everyone!!

My time at the hostel has been so so so great! I was initially very nervous as this was my first Worldpackers experience however Niamh and the other hostel workers made me feel at home right away. The work was very easy and there were many days where we finished early, leaving us heaps of free time to explore Westport and the surrounding area. The hostel is also in a great location, being very central and close to the best pubs, shops, and nature in Westport. Overall I had a wonderful stay at the hostel and made some incredible friends both local and international!😊

Volunteering at the hostel was a wonderful experience. The work there wasn't difficult since we were all working together. Niamh is a really kind and funny person, she also help when there is a lot of work. I met amazing people there (locals and travelers) and I will certainly never forgot the time I spent here. Thank you very much for everything !!🫂
