Volunteering at the hostel was my very first experience in this field, and it truly exceeded my expectations. You can tell they've been doing this for years because everything is incredibly well organized and run with a high level of professionalism - all while still keeping the fun and good times alive, I spent some of the best nights of my life here :). The staff is amazing, always going out of their way to make every volunteer feel welcome right from the start. It is a pleasure working with everyone in this house. Best decision I've ever made. I'd recommend this opportunity with closed eyes

O hostel tem um ambiente fantástico com pessoas vindas dos quatro cantos do mundo e muita animação. As tarefas que nos são dadas na recepção não são nada difíceis. Toda a equipa é bastante acessível e o Felipe foi sempre bastante compreensivo e prestável em relação a tudo. Foi sem dúvida uma experiência que vou recordar para sempre!

I had an absolutely good time contributing to the hostel. This is my second time volunteering at this hostel and there's a reason why I came back. So many more memories and good times created while volunteering here hosting activities for guests which I absolutely enjoyed. It was such a fun time! Just want to thank the owners, Felipe and Dalton. They're the best and also want to thank the staff. They are what makes the hostel the best hostel in Brasil. I can't wait to visit again.

Mi experiencia en PV fue grandiosa! El Hostel está en la falda de una Favela y la experiencia que vives es muy real y local! Es muy seguro y la vibe es muy buena! Felipe es una gran persona que siempre se preocupa porque estés bien y te hace sentir en casa! El staff y los demás voluntarios son súper buena onda, Río es una ciudad llena de cosas por hacer y por ver! Lo súper recomiendo! Gracias PV por esta gran aventura!

I had a great experience at the hostel and in Rio. The team are great and a great mix of volunteers. The hostel is located next to a favela which I was a little concerned about prior to my arrival as everyone told me how "dangerous" Rio is, however I never felt unsafe during my stay or my time in Rio. The tasks were straight forward and the owners and staff were very supportive and helpful. I would definitely recommend volunteering at the hostel as it's a great experience and family. Thank you for everything ❤️

Absolutely amazing experience volunteering at the hostel! Exactly what I hoped I was gonna achieve from this. They take really good care of everybody, both work wise and personally. The social side of the hostel is amazing, and there's stuff going on every night. I have met so many amazing people there, so thank you to Felipe and the whole team for giving me an unforgettable experience in Rio. I'll be back!

Minha experiência no hostel foi a melhor possível. A equipe foi super acolhedora e acomodou as minhas necessidades quando precisei. Os descontos em alimentação, festas e bebidas fizeram com que eu tivesse condições financeiras de aproveitar o Rio sem passar perrengue. Consegui praticar muuuito o meu inglês e melhorei o meu espanhol, além de ter conseguido me conectar com várias culturas sem precisar sair do Brasil. O melhor de tudo é que fiz amizades e tive experiências que vão ficar pra sempre na minha memória graças ao o hostel Já estou com saudades!!

El hostel fue mi casa durante 3 meses! Las actividades, tours y fiestas que ofrecen son esenciales para que nunca te sientas solo ni desanimado! El staff y voluntarios que fueron pasando se convirtieron en parte de mi familia, lo cual es lo mas gratificante que se puede encontrar en una experiencia como esta! En cuanto al trabajo, todo esta muy organizado lo cual permite tambien organizar los tiempos libres, siempre se respeto lo acordado y en caso de necesitar cambiar algun cambio o pedido Felipe esta dispuesto a ayudar! Recomiendo sin duda el hostel, van a conocer rio de una forma unica!

The hostel fue mi hogar por un mes, la pasé increíble, conocí personas hermosas y fue mejor de lo que esperaba. Me llevo los mejores recuerdos y sin dudas volveria. Las tareas son tal se acuerdan y el equipo ayuda siempre que necesites. Gracias por estas semanas de locura y aprendizaje, ya los extraño ❤️🇧🇷🇦🇷

Voluntariar no hostel superou todas as minhas expectativas. O trabalho na recepção é legal e tranquilo. A equipe é muito acolhedora e tem uma vibe incrível. O hostel fica perto da praia e de vários bares, restaurantes e supermercados. É perfeito para conhecer pessoas novas e para se divertir, temos festas de graça pra ir todos os dias e no bar do hostel sempre tem atividades também. Tem hóspedes e voluntários de vários lugares do mundo então é perfeito pra conhecer pessoas e praticar idiomas. Foi meu primeiro voluntariado e sem dúvidas foi a melhor experiência da minha vida.
