Leaving me with only enjoyable moments to reminisce on, my time here wasn't anything I expected. Everyone's kindness is true, and the warm ambience the hostel has makes this your second home. Management of the hostel is left to volunteers, as there is no permanent staff. Also here they provide the basics such as food, bed, laundry, etc. For discounts, tours, events... these aren't actually provided, which was quite the let down. Otherwise I have very little negativity towards this place. Whether in search of great memories, unique scenarios, or lifelong friendship, this is the place for you.

My experience in the hostel was amazing. Martin and Evan are super nice people always attentive to any kind of situation. There you can manage your schedule easily, but it's important to have a good relationship with the team work Tasks are simple and well explained by the volunteers and the vibe in the hostel makes you feel at home

The owner, Martin and Evan are super nice, and so is Santiago, another volunteer who came earlier than me. They trusted me to organise my days accordingly and most importantly, they treated me like their family. I feel like I've found my home and I feel safe there. The guests are mostly friendly and warm.

My experience at the hostel hotel Skopje was incredible connect with many international people, my fellow volunteers have been very good company the work is super easy to remove the sheets after each client and cleaning then you have everything nearby the location is perfect to visit the city, I definitely recommend it

It was a very good experience, it was my first time as a volunteer and it was very good for me, the owners are very kind and they were always aware of anything I could need, they helped me and it was a good time in that place, overall it was a good experience and I recommend it, thank you Ivan and Martin, I wish you all the best. 🤗

El hostel está perfectamente ubicado, cerca de la estación de buses y del centro de la ciudad. Es un sitio perfecto para conocer viajeros internacionales y mejorar tu inglés ya que todos los días llegan viajeros de distintas partes del mundo. Mis compañeros eran super majos y nos organizábamos bien. El trabajo es sencillo, consiste en limpiar las distintas partes del hostel, hacer tareas de recepción y cambiar las sabanas. Como parte negativa, el host no ofrece lo que dice (tours gratis, descuentos en restaurantes, ni comida como tal) ademas había problemas de chinches cuando estuve allí

The manager and the other volunteers were kind and respectful. Skopje is an interesting city to explore. The overall experience was not as expected. Nothing is offered other than a bed and laundry. All activities are not offered, the manager said something could be arranged if needed. There is no breakfast, in stead they offer a daily allowance when asked, but I did not recieve this in full. The hours are good, but there was a lot of confusion around shifts. The training is not thorough enough. But this could easily be improved upon, and if it is I think this could be a very good experience!

Fue mi primer voluntariado y me senti muy bien recibida, Evan y el equipo siempre se preocuparon por nuestra seguridad y salud. El lugar es pequeño pero lo sientes como tu hogar. Me hubiera gustado conectar más con el manager, ya que teníamos la barrera del idioma. Realmente es importante que especifiquen que necesitas más un inglés convencional para poder llevar las tareas de recepción. Me divertí mucho, realmente fue una experiencia que me llevo en el corazón por que el país es hermoso, además de haber hecho amistades entrañables.

I love the hostel! the team was good and they respect the working hours. the hostel is really confortable, small and we'll located. I learn a lot of the housekeeping.

but if you know that always we start from 11 am until 2.30 pm
but sometimes you finished everything at 1 pm, so sometimes we ask for a little of help in the evenings.... but you right.
