One of the best experiences I've had, I had a great time enjoying with Grece, Anne Marie and the girls. I highly recommend the guest house, exploring the area and Lake Guiness was truly unforgettable.

The guest house is a magical place surrounded by beautiful views and nature. If you enjoy hiking like I do and want to connect with nature and yourself, it's an ideal spot for a new experience. The hostel is somewhat removed from public transportation; the nearest area is Roundwood. The work has five shifts, morning and afternoon. It's not difficult, but there are quite a few tasks to complete. The most challenging part has been doing both cleaning+laundry. Everything was as agreed, except for the early check-ins, as guests occasionally arrived before the shift started.

The guest house was definitely an amazing experience that I will always keep in my heart, the contact with nature is the best, the tasks and schedules were very clear and in the hostel I always had access to everything I needed to be comfortable. Good place to learn a lot about hospitality and improve your English. Thank you guys for everything! Annemarie, Grace and James were always very kind and I was also lucky to have such a wonderful manager like Rebecca, I love you!

It was an amazing experience. I was able to improve my English a lot more and learn a lot from everyone at the guest house. Thank you again for everything and I recommend everyone who wants to be in an environment where you can make new friends, improve your language and have contact with nature all together.

My time at the guest house was fantastic!! The work was exactly as described and it was a great area to go hiking. Rebecca, Annemarie, James, and Grace were fantastic and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet but fun stay in small town Ireland ☘️

Although my experience at the guest house was a bit different than what I initially expected, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at this countryside the guest house. the guest house is teeming with avid hikers, global travelers, local builders, and good energy! It was lovely getting to know all of these guests and quite fulfilling contributing to the running of this bustling business. Some favorite moments included hiking to Lough Tay (Guinness Lake), spending time with my fellow volunteers, and admiring the beauty of Wicklow. A huge thanks to Annemarie, James, Grace, Rebecca, and the kind people of Roundwood for the memories!

This place is so so beautiful! There is so much hiking around the area and a small village near by. Hosts are all super generous with rideshares and taking you out on trips and excursions! Definitely a great experience for anyone who wants to get out of the city and just enjoy nature!

This was my second time here and it felt like coming home! I really appreciate the structure of the schedule, how straightforward shifts are, and how clean the whole BnB is. Even though it's in a rural area, everyone makes it possible to get out and see the surrounding areas, especially one of the employees, AnnMarie, who will take you to cool places! She's amazing! 5 weeks went so fast 😭

Rebecca, a gerente, é uma pessoa maravilhosa, generosa, divertida e explica tudo que precisamos saber sobre o trabalho, além de proporcionar várias experiências gastronômicas. I loved my stay at the guest house. Rebecca is the best manager I could have hoped for, she really sticks to all the agreements and is generally great to work with, with a good balance of trusting you to work alone and helping when needed. The place is beautiful and the hikes in the area are just amazing. Anyone who enjoys nature and doesn't mind not being in a bustling city I would highly recommend this experience to. I would do it again in a heartbeat.
