I had the best time at the hostel. Indy runs the show very smoothly and is a great communicator. The team I worked with were a dream and the tasks were super reasonable. Super good facilities and a homey comfy feel. Very good vibes.

I had a great great time in the hostel!! Indy is a really great manager, and I got the opportunity to meet amazing people during my stay. As I was there during low season, it was very chill and I had plenty of time to explore the wonderful Highlands! Thank you very much for this amazing opportunity!!! 🫶🫶🫶🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

My partner and I stayed an extra month as we enjoyed the experience so much. The hours are fair as well as the work that's expected of you. I have some great memories of the hostel, both with guests and the other volunteers. The kitchen is spacious and the rest of the facilities are great for a hostel. The town itself is also worth exploring. It's tiny but there's a lot to see and the surrounding islands are easy and affordable to get to. Expect to play lots of pool.

I came to volunteer at the hostel with my partner for only a month but we ended up staying two months. I loved the hostel, the hostel is a really pretty town with so many beautiful islands to explore nearby. The hostel really felt like a second home for the past 2 months, the team is great, we have met so many travelers, volunteers & guests, that made the place special. We never had any problem with the working shifts, the hours agreed on are respected and we had plenty of time to explore and chill. This group was truly a special one! Lynn is adorable, Indy is a lovely soul.

Volunteering at the hostel was an awesome experience!! I felt welcomed here from day one, the other volunteers were super chill and friendly. I would extend my stay if I could!! Everyone had an average of 25 hours a week, but we got days off or days with only one short shift. And it's a great location, at the end of the Main Street so you can walk to the grocery store and the ferry terminal and the bus station. I will miss this place and I would extend my stay if I could <3

I stayed here for 3 weeks and had a great time. Didn't really get to meet the manager very much but the assistant Lyn was so welcoming, helpful and kind. Such a beautiful place to stay and visit. I would recommend going during warmer Scotland months, because they didn't have heat running in the end of October which was cold. Otherwise the place was Very clean, everyone working here was very nice and welcoming. So happy I got to stay in the hostel. I met so many different personalities from all over. It created a welcoming environment. Began to feel like a home.

The hostel has a special place in my heart after my time volunteering. All the volunteers/staff are amazing, the expectations and work was clear and more than reasonable. Schedules were super flexible with plenty of time off to explore the neighbouring islands and other parts of the highlands. Couldn't recommend enough, especially with the group I worked with <3

No había espacio en el hostel por lo que me propusieron ser voluntaria en Fort William, lo cual fue maravilloso. Los voluntarios y el manager David son maravillosos! Respetaron la horas de trabajo y había muy buen ambiente, lo único malo es que la habitación de voluntarios era muy pequeña por allí que me quedé en una habitación de huéspedes, David siempre estaba dispuesto a conversar y ser flexible
