Minha experiência no hostel foi incrível , me conectei com pessoas tive a oportunidade de praticar novos idiomas e conhecer novas culturas, além da cultura portuguesa que é rica e diversa! Todo o staff me recebeu muito bem o que tornou a jornada de trabalho muito prazerosa e enriquecedora ! A comunicação com a anfitriã Gabi também foi ótima, todos os acordos foram cumpridos e o hostel tem uma estrutura moderna e acolhedora! Um diferencial é a equipe de voluntários ser composta apenas por mulheres, uma ótima opção para quem viaja sozinha e busca encontrar outras mulheres viajantes 🫶🏻✨

I couldn't have asked for a better first volunteering experience❤️ Thankyou to Gabi and all the staff for making me feel so welcome and being so positive and caring. I was on reception and bar, and the tasks were super manageable ( I did go in the low season so shifts might be slightly busier in summer). Hours were always respected, and they are super flexible if you want to ask for a certain shift or day off in advance! The room and beds were very comfy,the hostel truly felt like home and the location is unbeatable! I made friends for life and I'll definitely be back to Porto and to the hostel❤️

Volunteering at the hostel was a lovely experience. I spent one month there working at the bar. The job was easy, it is 5 hours, 5 days per week. Our job is to help the receptionists with the bar and keep the kitchen and lounge clean. The reception team is amazing, Ari, Hugo, Lucas, Pedro, Diana, and Gabi are always there to help you with whatever you need. I would suggest letting the volunteer team do their laundry for free once a week at the hostel. If you are thinking about volunteering in Porto, I would absolutely recommend the hostel. I met lovely people from all over the world there.

The hostel was my first volunteering experience ever, and I would definitely recommend it! All the people from the staff were very the hostel and chill and the manager, Gabi, was so kind and always available to accomodate our needs while organizing the shifts. The hostel is very the hostel and cozy, and in the perfect position to explore Porto :)

Un hogar lejos de casa… Este hostel es de esos lugares donde llegas por poco tiempo y terminas quedándote porque todo es increíble. La gente, el ambiente, la flexibilidad… ¡hasta las tareas son pan comido! La comunicación es impecable, y en poco tiempo te sientes parte de una gran familia. Si buscas un voluntariado sin dramas y con buenas vibras, este es el lugar. ¡Volvería con los ojos cerrados! Gracias por todo! :)

Fue una experiencia muy linda, el staff es super simpático, te hacen sentir como en casa! El trabajo en temporada baja es tranquilo, la cantidad de horas fueron siempre las acordadas, todas las semanas envían los horarios de cada voluntario y son flexibles si se necesita pedir algún día en especial! Gracias el hostel por recibirme 🫶🏼 hasta la próxima ✨

This was my second time volunteering at the hostel, and I highly recommend it for connecting with international travelers and also to improve your languages skills. What makes it special is the incredible staff and amazing volunteers – people I'm grateful to have met. The tasks are easy to learn, and schedules are respected. Lourenço and Gabi, the managers, are fantastic! Besides that, the location is perfect. You just need to walk some seconds and you will find a lot of sightseeing, restaurants, bars, metro station.. I'll miss you all, the hostel! 🫶🏽🫶🏽

It was my 1st experience in WorldPackers. And I can not imagine myself choosing a better place than the hostel. It really felt like home to me since day 1. Everyone was so amazing and friendly, Lourenço and all the staffs! The volunteers were also so the hostel! Everything was perfect! We have a room only for the volunteers which makes life much easier. Lou is a super flexible and easygoing person. I would recommend the hostel a 100000%! Always in my heart 💛

Great place, if you're looking for a flexible stay with a lot of free time. Work tasks at the hostel are super simple with good hours and they leave you plenty of time to explore Porto! The hostel is located in a good spot so that you have everything you need close by. Also - even though the hostel was calm, volunteers having their own room was a big plus! Staff is beyond great and the work environment is super chill. In some situations I would've preferred clearer communication and more coordination regarding the work that the volunteers were given. But over all a fun experience!
