Best place to volunteer ever! Felt welcomed since minute one. The hostel itself is beautiful and has everything you need to feel warm and cozy, is pretty close to the beach and to the main town. But the highlight of everything is the amazing people that work here. Can't thank you enough for the incredible time I had! I was able to make myself a new home and meet amazing friends for life. Thank you Sarah, Mathilde & Cedric for everything ❤️

The hostel was an amazing first Worldpackers experience for me. The team here are so welcoming and I immediately felt at home! Housekeeping is the main job here but there were opportunities to do some gardening and other maintenance jobs. Rarely did we run over our two hours. Port Macquarie itself is what you make of it, with the many beaches and plenty of cafes to visit, and you are almost guaranteed to meet some amazing people here!! Thank you so much the hostel for letting me stay here, I had such an incredible time and I will hopefully be back one day in the future <3

The hostel provided a GREAT first Worldpackers experience! Sarah, Vicky, and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and understanding of some travel delays I encountered. They were always so helpful and accommodating while creating a fun space for volunteers. The experience is truly what you make of it, but you have everything you need to make a memorable trip in Aus. The work is quick and easy, and the amenities were super useful! Port is a beautiful city that I've come to love. the hostel became a home away from home, and I will miss it dearly!

I am very grateful to have worked at the hostel and for the people I have met. Sarah was a very understanding, communicative, and caring boss and I learned a lot from her leadership and hospitality skills. I became very close friends with the other workers and am truly sad to be leaving. The accommodation was amazing. I shared a cabin with one other girl for three weeks and had my own room for the other two weeks. There is a lot of space at the hostel to relax, read or just hang out. The atmosphere is chill while still being respectful of everyone's needs.

I really enjoyed volunteering here and had the best time in Port Macquarie! The staff is just the best and is helping you whenever you need help :) The hostel is super organised and the work is pretty easy. We were always done after 2 hours but it didn't really feel like work as we were listening to music and worked in a team. After work, we just relaxed at the pool, went surfing or played cards. Can highly recommend this place and would always come back! And thanks to Vicky, Sarah, Mathilde, Vanessa & of course the rest of the team <3

I had a great time at the hostel! The work is simple and doesn't take much time, and the other staff and leadership are kind, sociable, and helpful! The hostel itself is also a lovely place to spend time, with lots of facilities and activities making it feel comfortable and welcoming. I made great friends here and will always look back fondly on my time at the hostel!

My first experience and I would do it again with pleasure! The staff is welcoming and always ready to help you. They are all very caring! 🤍 I really liked the organization of the work, very clear and simple! The hostel is very nice, there is a lot of space to meet ! I had a lot of free time to explore the nice places of port Macquarie ! 🌊

I absolutely had the best time at the hostel! All the staff is so nice and I felt at home since the first moment. The work is very easy and pleasant, the hostel is so nice, with great common areas, beautiful spaces and nice people! I had the opportunity to meet new friends from all over the world and I already miss them. I don't have enough words to say thank you to Sarah and Matilde for this opportunity❤
