It was an amazing experience. The working hours were as agreed, and the team was supportive. It was my first volunteering experience, and I found exactly what I was looking for: a space to practise English, make friends, and work with people committed to teamwork.

It was my best volunteering experience! The hostel is very well organized. My sincere thanks go to the owners especially Arthur, who is always on hand to teach the activities and treats all the volunteers ethically and kindly. I love the fact that there is a kitchen rota to prepare lunch! This allows us more free time and sociability. The rotation of activities makes the work dynamic and creates empathy between the volunteers. Not to mention that the hostel is very well located, allowing you to go almost anywhere on foot and the bus and metro stations are also close by. I'll miss it. :)

Don't even know how to describe my time at BCB. This was my first experience with WP and boy oh boy! I literally felt welcomed from the moment I walked in. I could go on and on about how awesome everything was, but just to quickly talk about the work load, it's super easy, hours are 11-1/2pm ish, tasks are very manageable and if you're lucky and have a great team, you'd finish by 1pm and then have the rest of the time for yourself. Arthur is an incredible leader, Misi and Jani are the best bosses ever and all three will always make sure you're comfortable and taken care of. Love you guys!

I stayed there for 30 days and totally recommend it! The work is super easy, just 2-3 hours a day, so there's plenty of free time to explore the city or hang out with the other volunteers. The food they provide is amazing too. Huge thanks to Arthur for keeping everything running smoothly, and for short friendship!

Foi a melhor experiência no quesito experiência/hostel desde que cheguei na Europa, apesar de não ser uma cidade turística. É um trabalho em equipe, e é fácil de aprender e executar. Você cumpre sua função e o que foi pedido, e você está livre. E o mais importante, os anfitriões são muito receptivos, estão sempre atentos às nossas demandas, e tornam o ambiente muito leve e feliz de se conviver. Tive uma equipe maravilhosa, fiz amigos pra vida, e só tenho agradecer a todos que compartilharam esses momentos comigo. Fui muito feliz aqui e voltaria com certeza!! Gratidão a todos <3

Eu fiquei no hostel por dois meses e foi uma experiência muito agradável para mim. Desde a chegada fui muito bem recebida e tratada pela equipe e anfitriões. As tarefas são bem divididas e terminávamos antes do horário, por isso quanto mais rápido vc for, melhor ;) O quarto é misto, os chuveiros são bons e há uma boa oferta de comida. Eu me senti muito confortável tanto no espaço como quanto com as pessoas. A atenção de Arthur com a equipe e a paciência de todos com quem está aprendendo inglês são um diferencial. Recomendo muito esse voluntariado! :)

Mi experiencia en el hostel fue perfecta! El trabajo es super sencillo de hacer y por lo general se termina antes de tiempo. Tanto Arthur como los dueños se encargan de que estemos siempre cómodos y a gusto. Mis compañeros de voluntariado sin dudas hicieron la experiencia mas que especial. Me sentí en familia durante todo mi tiempo ahi ♥️ Espero poder volver pronto ☺️

It was one of the most meaningful experiences of my entire life because I understood a lot about myself. I had never worked in a hostel and it took me a while to learn. I found people very patient and helpful in explaining the work to be done. The food was plentiful and very good. In this experience I improved in English, learned a new job and met many friendly and interesting people. I would have liked to spend more time in this place.

This was my second volunteering experience and I have no words to express how happy I was in this place. Arthur is wonderful, Misi and Jani were incredible and I will miss all the staff. I was with 3 different groups of volunteers and they were all incredible at all times, we were always together and everything turned into laughter. I made friends that I will have for the rest of my life and I gained a family in the UK. Thank you for supporting all the crazy ideas we had, I will definitely be back again for more fun events, music, Brazilian food, lots of laughter and hugs. See you soon.

Well, it is always an awesome experience. If you go to the hostel, you'll have great food, a staff that respects you and does their best to make you feel comfortable, plenty of free time to explore the city or spend however you prefer, and a friendly environment where you'll share days with people you'll remember for a lifetime. 😁 Thanks again for the experience, Arthur, Misi, Lisa... All of you, I don't want to forget anyone. I feel like family with you all. See you araound, It's never a goodbye. ❤️
