The teaching experience was great, the kids are sweet and willing to learn. The accomodation is quiet and very big. On the other side the most important part was missing which was the contact with the host or with anyone and that was the reason why I decided to leave earlier than planned. I was the only foreigner in the village and I saw the host only 10 minutes a day while I spent the rest of the day on my own and ate on my own. There is no Grab so the only way of moving around is the bycicle or the bike.

We are sorry that we didn't​ have​ much time to spend with you. Our typical day is normally hectic. As early as 6am, we need to prepare many things at our nursery school for the kids to come at 8. Then from 8am to 4pm we have to take care of them till they are picked up by their parents. We tried our best to come to see you everyday at 4 to 6pm, but during this time you were teaching.

Then at the weekend you went away for your trip, which was good for you to explore the area. But we missed a chance to spend time together​, at least having lunch together​. And we also helped you to book the van and the ferry ticket to go on the trip. We even drove you to the bus stop to catch the van, and picked you up at the same point when you came back. Just to make sure that our volunteer​ was taken care well.

In fact, we kept inviting you to join our nursery whenever you had time during the moring and have lunch together​, but you didn't​. I had an amazing time at the school and highly recommended this experience. The kids are so smart and so eager to learn and practice english. The school is a lovely environment to be in and I felt so welcomed by Ansari, Maria and everyone at the school. They also provide you with a bike to get around and there are a couple beautiful waterfalls scattered around as well as some nature walks. I was lucky enough to be volunteering at the same time as someone else, and made a great friend from the experience. The accomodation is not far from the school and very comfortable. Thankyou!

My time at the school was an incredibly rewarding experience. Ansari, Maria, and everyone else made me feel incredibly welcome, ensuring that I felt at ease at all times. The neighborhood is also very cool, the people are nice and you will find good local restaurants. Volunteering here is definitely not a task, you will find fun playing and learning English to the kids. They are the cutest and smartest kids ever. I recommend this experience 100%!

I had a great experience! I felt super welcome by the host Ansari, his wife and the whole team. They were very kind every day at the school. Also Ansari invited me to share with his family Ramadan's culmination dinner and it was super cool. The kids are great! Very smart and fun so the daily work is enjoyed. The house where you sleep is comfortable and the neighbors are amazing. I had such a great time here! Thank you Ansari for giving me the opportunity to learn more about your community in these weeks! My experience here was amazing, all the team at the school was incredibly nice and helpful and made me feel welcomed. The kids were adorable, smart and again very welcoming. Discovering the culture and the religion was super interesting and, even if there was not a whole lot to do in the area, even just biking around and going to the market was a nice way to pen free time.

The host Anasari is really nice and welcome. You feel instand great. To work whit the children is funny and I feel u work only 2 hours. Also when u have some problems u can tell this Anasari he will help you ever time. Only thing is your options outside the volunteer is kinda limited. But all in all best experience so far.

This place is a great inspiration for me, everything is very well done, the teaching methodology and the routine they have. Sharing time with the children was beautiful, they are so cute, so charming, loving and intelligent. Each one is unique. Ansari, Maria and the entire team are amazing hosts, they always made me feel welcome, comfortable and looked after me at all times. And the food was always delicious (อร่อย.) I really enjoyed my time here and also learned. It was a wonderful experience. I am very grateful.

I don't think that this exchange was the right fit for me personally. I think that it would have been better for if I'd been with other volunteers. Ansari could have been better with communication. There isn't a lot to do within walking distance, but Ansari got me a motor bike which was a huge game changer. The scenery is beautiful. I LOVED the kids. It didn't feel like work during the day.

It was lovely volunteering at the school. Ansari, Maria, Yuweeta & Zoona were all lovely and helpful, the children delightful. It was interesting learning more about the Muslim faith especially during Ramadan, whilst assisting the children with their English speaking growth, I was staying at the school which was comfortable.. The only downside was that the other neighbour would garden 11pm, 12am 1am right outside my window. It wasn't the noise but it effected me feeling secure at the school. Ansari reassured me that the neighbour had been gardening through night for several years.
