My three weeks volunteering at Ansari's school and the school were truly heartwarming! I taught English to older childer (7 to 12), who were eager and full of energy, and spent time with the younger kids (1 to 5) at the school! The sweet, little kids spoke English surprisingly well, they learn everyday about religion, nature and English! Ansari and Maria were wonderful hosts, taking me to markets and inviting me to have breakfast or lunch several times! Their kindness made the experience even more special. I recommend this experience 100%! Thank you Ansari for giving me the opportunity to join:)

Overall this experience was wonderful. Ansari is the kindest, most patient, and accommodating person I have ever met and it was a pleasure to meet him and his wife and family. The children I taught were very respectful, funny, happy, and eager to learn and get involved. I felt like I was truly making a difference and it was very rewarding to help them to improve their English, and to generally spend time with them. I am very grateful for this opportunity.

It was an unforgettable experience in my life. The kids were shy on the first day, but we became close quickly. I was surprised that they spoke English well enough to communicate. And they are so lovely. We had time to play outside every day. The natural scenery is amazing, and the kids know how to mingle in nature. Ansari and his family are so nice. They always provided me with delicious, plentiful food and took me anywhere. The room is enough to stay alone. Thank you Ansari and his family and the villagers for always being kind to me. I highly recommend this activity.

Ansari y el resto del equipo humano siempre fueron súper atentos conmigo, ayudándome y acompañándome en todo lo que necesitara. Mi experiencia ha sido muy grata, y una forma auténtica de sumergirme en la cultura local. El trabajo con los niños es muy gratificante, y hablan muy bien inglés. El entorno es tranquilo y natural, y tendrás que disfrutar de montar en bicicleta por los alrededores, viviendo su fauna y flora, comer comida local… Totalmente recomendable. Muchas gracias por todo. Espero volver y se lo recomiendo a todo el mundo.

This experience was amazing! The first day I started at the school, the children were a bit shy at the beginning but so was I. That moment of shyness went over very quickly. The kids spoke way better English then I expected. I started to play with every kid individually, this way I could really focus on getting them to understand English, this was also a good way to learn every kid and learning how unique the are even at such a young age. I really recommend doing this, Ansari and his family are amazing people, I learned a lot about the community and the environment. 10/10 :)

It's quite hard to find where to start, but to summarise it easily it was one of the most beautiful experiences I've done. Ansari, his wife and the babysitters were very welcoming and made me really feel apart of the family. The children's English skills were beyond amazing being able easily to have a full conversation with them. Ansari made everything so easily accessible for me, giving me information on all the local sights and educating me on the area. Seeing how much the children loved their faith and talking to Ansari, really helped me myself learn more about my faith. Thank you Ansari.

The school is an exceptional school! They have a great educational system to kids from 1-5 years. By this age they are able to communicate in english very well. They also teach nature awareness, everyday they go to somewhere different in the nature to let kids play. I am lucky to be part of this education. I wish they all have the opportunity to keep practicing it. Ansari, Maria, Yuwata, with his team community made me feel very welcome, always with respect. I felt comfortable to teach and share with kids and others. The kids were lovely and respectful, they enjoy the classes so much.

My heart is full with this experience. Thank you Ansari, Maria, Weeta, Dear and Sunah. I learned a lot during this time about education, children, religion, food, etc. The classes were enjoyable, the children were adorable and very smart. When you join them in play, you feel like a child again! It's a perfect experience for someone who wants to be in a quiet place, away from tourism and share with locals. The food they provided us with is delicious! If I needed something, they were ALWAYS willing to help and were very flexible. Also,they always had recommendations for places or a plan!

One of the best experiences of my life as a traveler! I just have to thank Ansari, Maria and the whole the school team for everything they did during this time together. You were really amazing! The routine and activities are very pleasant and the place where we stayed is great. You also have good options for going out and exploring the region. The kids are very kind and friendly, which makes everything more enjoyable and fun. They learn English very well thanks to the methods adopted. I will miss these people, this place, the delicious food and every moment I spent here!

The teaching experience was great, the kids are sweet and willing to learn. The accomodation is quiet and very big. On the other side the most important part was missing which was the contact with the host or with anyone and that was the reason why I decided to leave earlier than planned. I was the only foreigner in the village and I saw the host only 10 minutes a day while I spent the rest of the day on my own and ate on my own. There is no Grab so the only way of moving around is the bycicle or the bike.

We are sorry that we didn't​ have​ much time to spend with you. Our typical day is normally hectic. As early as 6am, we need to prepare many things at our nursery school for the kids to come at 8. Then from 8am to 4pm we have to take care of them till they are picked up by their parents. We tried our best to come to see you everyday at 4 to 6pm, but during this time you were teaching.

Then at the weekend you went away for your trip, which was good for you to explore the area. But we missed a chance to spend time together​, at least having lunch together​. And we also helped you to book the van and the ferry ticket to go on the trip. We even drove you to the bus stop to catch the van, and picked you up at the same point when you came back. Just to make sure that our volunteer​ was taken care well.

In fact, we kept inviting you to join our nursery whenever you had time during the moring and have lunch together​, but you didn't​.
