Christina is a fantastic host, very attentive and responsive. During the period we stayed, we learned a lot, worked and felt at home. Alvor is a paradise in the middle of the Algarve, a very friendly and pleasant little town. We loved the experience of working at the hostel. We recommend.

El voluntariado fue increíble. La ubicación del hostal es muy buena y cerca de las playas más bonitas. La gente fue super amable y me acogieron genial. Cristina es una muy buena anfitriona. Sin duda repetiría el voluntariado!

A experiência foi extremamente enriquecedora, e isso se deve em grande parte hospitalidade e à maneira atenciosa que Cristina nos recebeu. Aprendemos muito ao seu lado e sinto que crescemos como pessoa e profissional. Sua capacidade de compartilhar conhecimentos e experiências foi inestimável, estamos gratas por isso! Além disso, não posso deixar de mencionar a beleza a guest house. . Suas lindas paisagens e praias deslumbrantes tornaram nossa estadia ainda mais memorável. Amamos cada momento que passamos na guesthouse e em Alvor. Obrigada por esta experiência!

This was my first Worldpackers experience and felt lucky to have been given this experience. Beautiful location and really clean accommodation with a lovely host too. Christina was always attentive and made sure we were comfortable from arrival late in the evening from flight delays. Never worked over the 5 hours a day agreed upon and the work was always manageable. Wish we could've stayed longer!

It was a really fun experience. Alvor is really beautiful and worth visiting . Cristina created a positive atmosphere which made volunteering there easy and pleasant.

Foi a minha primeira experiência de voluntariado com a Worldpackers e foi simplesmente incrível. A zona a guest house tem praias lindas. As tarefas que fiz foram sobretudo limpeza de quartos e áreas comuns e ajuda na preparação do pequeno-almoço. Tive a oportunidade de conhecer pessoas magníficas com as quais partilhei conversas profundas que jamais esquecerei. Foram bastante acolhedores comigo e, de facto, só tenho pena de ter ficado apenas uma semana porque acaba por se construir uma pequena família.

Já conhecia Alvor e gostei bastante de poder voltar e aproveitar mais do lugar e das pessoas, com certeza volto ^^ A Cristina foi super solícita e adorei me conectar com os locais e outros voluntários ^^

This was my first experience at Worldpacker and it definitely worth it. I was lucky to be surrounded by amazing people who made the experience worthwhile. About the work, it's basically cleaning and organizing the rooms in the guest house, the work can be intense some days. About Cristina I must say that she is a person full of energy and very active, but the organization of the work schedule is not the best and this can be a little annoying. About the accommodation, I stayed in a house 18 min walk from the guest house, with all the necessary structure for cooking and washing clothes.

Essa foi minha segunda experiência em a guest house, mais uma vez Cristina foi incrível, uma mulher dedicada e cheia de energia, sempre animada, bem humorada e com um sorriso contagiante, Cristina e seu Joaquim acolhem os voluntários como membros da família. O trabalho é fácil e consiste em limpar as casas de hospedes, os horários e as tarefas são respeitados conforme o combinado, tive bastante tempo para conhecer as praias e cidades próximas. Ótima também foi a companhia dos voluntários Davi, Bianca, Tatiana, Sayoa, Marlene, Flora e Ana. Recomendo a todos
