I had an amazing time during my stay at the hostel! It's got a central location with everything you could need within walking distance, plus access to reliable public transportation. The city itself is beautiful and the hostel felt like a home. Tamer is the best and cares so much for all the volunteers. The work is very straightforward as it's just cleaning and doing reception. My time in Haifa was perfect thanks to the hostel and all the opportunities it provided me. I am forever thankful for being welcomed into such a lovely place!

My first experience out of my country was at the hostel and it was absolutely amazing. Even though we had to leave earlier than we expected, Tamer was so understanding and helpful and I can't say thank you enough. I made some amazing friends here and learned so much. I definitely recommend this volunteering opportunity!!! Thank you all for everything :)

I had an absolute blast being apart of the hostel family. It was hard to leave when the time came, you will experience this feeling as well if you come to Haifa. The work is fair, the vibe is laid back, and having to rely on yourself are some of the things I liked about the hostel. But there is a family of staff and volunteers to help whenever it is needed. I am definitely coming back to Palestine found within the walls of Haifa. Come experience something you won't quite expect.

I had a great time working at the hostel. I made great friends there and there is plenty to do in Haifa. Working at the hostel is pretty much what is written. You clean and do reception and in return you get good food and accommodation. I really did enjoy working here and it was a great first volunteering experience. I would definitely recommend applying if you are thinking about it!

I honestly can't praise this place highly enough; never have I felt so content. The work itself is intuitive and provides routine, where Tamer is forgiving, which was reassuring as a first WP experience. The quotidian is healing: one can go swimming, take walks to appreciate the picturesque viewpoints, and eat good, wholesome food. The location is ideal and public transport epic, with convenient links to places like Acre and Nazareth. You meet genuinely authentic people and can create a community feel. It was distressing to leave, but signifies how appreciative I am of the hostel.

The hostel is a warm place, that feels like home. Tamer keeps the place going with his energy, intelligence and charisma, and Mohammed worked his magic every day in the kitchen, always with a smile. The place is very well located, close to the beach, the train station and the breathtaking Baha'i gardens. Accomodations are very comfortable, work hours are respected and the crew is very attentive about any needs the volunteers have. Shukram guys, for everything! 💪🏻🙏🏼🙌🏼

Staying two months in Haifa was one of the best experiences I ever had. For my first worldpackers trip it was perfect. I met so many great people (other volunteers, guests, staff & locals) and learned new things every day. The whole team was so welcoming from the first day. It really felt like home and I was quite sad to leave. I can't complain about the work, it was exactly 25h a week and very easy most of the time. Breakfast and Lunch made by Muhamed every day was just perfect. I would really recommend this place to everyone, you will have a special time.

Alyakhour hostel became my home for a month and a half. Everyone was so welcoming and I really felt like I was part of the family. I couldn't be more grateful about this experience. I'll always have a little piece of my heart in Haifa. ❤️‍🩹

My time was really unique. The host and staff members were lovely and I felt very comfortable the whole time. Beside the working hours I had enough time to explore Haifa and other places in Israel. I can definitely recommend this hostel and will hopefully be able to come back as soon as possible.

My experience at the hostel was amazing. I met a lot of lovely people and made good friends. The schedule was flexible so I had time to explore a lot. Tamer helped me get free nights at partner hostels in other cities. The schedule was mostly clear but we sometimes had to work a few extra hours. We had breakfast and lunch which were amazing, thanks Mohammed! The only thing that could improve is the volunteer shower, it was mostly broken and only had cold water. All in all it was great though, thanks guys!
