Dettagli del programma
Worth a Haven Foundation is a community-led organisation based in the western region of Uganda, in Kasese, supporting vulnerable children and families through education, care and development programmes. Our work centres around a nursery and primary school, an orphanage, farming projects and community health initiatives.
We currently support over 400 vulnerable children, including orphans and displaces children from the Congo. Our mission is to provide a safe environment where children can access education, nutrition, healthcare and stability, while also strengthening families and livelihoods across the wider community.
Kasese is located near some of Uganda's most beautiful natural landmarks, including Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale Forest and the Rwenzori Mountains, offering volunteers the opportunity to experience both rural community life and world-class landscapes.
