The Monk's Bunk Hostel&Bar
If you like to meet people, have a beer, and fun in a chill atmosphere, you will surely enjoy our two hostels in Tallinn's beautiful Old Town. We have a bar with a wide selection of good beers and some wine, a courtyard with a pop-up bar open to the public starting from summer, and many events in mind.
Our staff is mainly traveling volunteers and some people living locally. Everybody speaks good English and is a pleasure to have around. Depending on the number of volunteers, we normally have from 4-16 people staying in the staff room and their stay varies from a month or a couple of months.

My time at the Monk’s Bunk was amazing! I spent a month there, and there were social activities every day — a great opportunity to build relationships and improve languages. Also, you get four days off per week, which is perfect for getting around and visiting nearby countries. Definitely, this is the most social hostel I’ve ever been to. Just come if you want to build memories :)

Volunteering for a month at this party hostel in Tallinn was an unforgettable experience. From day one, I felt truly welcomed and at home. The team is incredible — coworkers quickly became close friends and a real second family.💚
There was a different event every night, amazing energy, and so much fun shared together. It was the perfect balance between work, connection, and unforgettable moments.
This experience gave me friendships, memories, and emotions I’ll carry with me forever. December here was the best month of my life — thank you for everything! ♥️

Honestly this is my favorite hostel I have worked at. Everyone was super friendly and the tasks were simple. I didn’t have any issues while I was here. Running the pub crawls are probably the best thing you’ll ever do. Making the beds and scrubbing the toilets the worst. So everything evens out, they try to give you an activity shift atleast once a week. My experience here was phenomenal, highly recommend.
