Rinjani Terrace
Together with local youth, we started community initiatives to raise awareness about tourism among local people, not only as an economic opportunity, but also as a responsibility to protect our culture, environment, and way of life. One of our main goals is to prepare the younger generation to feel confident welcoming visitors from around the world.
Through Worldpackers, I invite international volunteers to support our vision. With their help, we are building English classes for village children, creating a fun and supportive learning space where kids can practice language skills and learn about different cultures. This helps them gain confidence and opens new opportunities for their future.
Another important focus of our project is environmental awareness, especially addressing the plastic waste problem in the village. Together with volunteers and local youth, we organize simple campaigns, clean-up activities, and education programs to encourage better waste management and a cleaner environment.
This project is not about fast tourism, it is about community growth, education, and sustainability. By working together with volunteers, we exchange knowledge, build friendships, and take small but meaningful steps toward a better future for our village.
On your free time, you can visit waterfalls and rice terraces, tetebatu monkey forest, traditional hand weaving, bamboo craft, stick coconut craft, silver craft or even take day trips on your days off to Sembalun, Gili Kondo or Pink Beach!
I'm Opan. You can expect to be treated as a valuable collaborator and part of a mission-driven team. We're dedicated to a communal and educational environment where we all work together towards a greener future.
